It's been a fun week!

I've had to turn down a bunch of bath dogs because I have a few other things I have to get done, but please reach out to Stef with Hearth and Hound or Sailor with Sailor's Whisker Spa.

Sailor works with us in the winter because she does mobile - she does haircuts too!

Stef is visiting along with Seri and Holly while the grooming gallery is being renovated after the fire.

Even if I can't manage all the baths - I still wanna see everyone! In between Nails! Treats! Toys! I'm still doing some baths too, just not as many. I have to have floor coverage but also I have some reorganization and stuff to move into our new connex.

Man! Today was crazy again. 🤪 I could not have made it without mom coming to watch so I could do C**t and another thankfully less famous pup 😂. And Seri and Stef incidentally taking over my baths so I could do nails 😂 and holly helping with some morning stuff to get us going!

We have made an easier way to see each other's schedules for me to book baths - super helpful but it still is very limited based on store coverage. I apologize for my lack of communication and appreciate everyones patience! We're getting there!

In the very kindest way possible - if you have my personal information - DO NOT give it out for anything please. Including/especially Rescue business and please do not send people needing to surrender to call the store or come in.

The store is retail and houses Bakken Paws cats, small animals, reptiles but cannot intake animals. Not everyone that answers the phone or interacts with customers volunteers with the rescue. You can reach them at [email protected] or on the page.

We do not have a receptionist for the store or the rescue.

Our roof stayed the course!! Thankfully it seems the wind was not as bad up there as it was down here where I live. That no power thing tho 😂😭. I was not prepared. My laundry was going and my phone was not charged. I had a nap. From 930 to 1130 😑. Now I have to power order tomorrow because I was unable to get it started tonight.

Thanks to Hearth & Hound Pet Spa owner - Stef - for going out to check on the roof and animals after!

If you're needing an amazing dog bath - check her out! She's hanging with us along with Seri and Holly for the summer while their shop gets fixed.

I can't tell you how fun it is to have these girls hanging with us right now. It's gonna be so quiet when they and the reptiles have to leave 😭.

Keep our roof in your thoughts 😂😭. There's 2 separate sections of damage. 1 visible on the west corner and 1 not above our rescue counter.

18 nail trims today!

I am currently low staffing so again, please bear with me. But I am not looking to hire atm. Why? Well. We desperately need a new roof. We can fix the wind damage but the fact of the matter is - we've been needing a new roof for some time. It condensates and raises our utility bills and all that. The insulation needs to go.

So... I'm busting my butt for a bit and hoping to plan some events with friends to get to our goal of $120,000 to replace the roof and insulation. While still being able to order the product that keeps us open and keeps a roof over all the rescue animals and Seri's animals.

How can you help? Buy treats and toys! Lots of em! You're pets will appreciate 😂💜. Get nail trims - some baths but admittedly I am struggling to keep up with bath requests. Share and interact with my posts - this is a paid page but I have yet to break $15 😂. I do my best. Jk. I don't. But every bit helps!

3 years ago today, I picked up Lucy out of the shelter. She was CRAZY. I said she was absolutely not coming to my house. 😂. Whoops.

She was naughty in her foster and needed some momming. So Sigyn Mommed her. And then mommed her again.

She has some interest. Some people met her and loved her. Someone who lived on a farm applied. Nothing against that at all - but her breeds and prey drive are not a good match for farm living.

She sat with me as I recovered from emergency surgery and massive infection for weeks and weeks. She was an amazing pup during that time.

And then we decided that she was staying forever.
