Happy 1- year Anniversary to Freya's K9 Academy!

A year ago, I lost my job on September 3rd and on September 6th Freya's was registered as an official business.

what felt like a hard ending turned into a new beginning and little by little, the time, work, experience, and love that I had poured into training dogs found its way home to FREYAS- where it belongs.

This year brought long days, freezing weather, unpredictable situations, new dogs, new faces and a whole lot of criticism. Through all of it, I was reminded that knowing how to train dogs and knowing how to be a trainer are two different things. Working with people, handling pressure, thinking on my feet and adapting in the moment are just as much a part of the job- and I think this year proved I can do both.

None of that growth would have happened without my clients though. They're the ones who trusted me , chose me, and gave me opportunities to grow as a trainer. It wasn't friends or family who built this business - it was my clients and their dogs. They helped make Freya's what it is today and gave me the best year I could have asked for!

- with so much love,
Ashley & Frey Frey
