🔵 Its that time of year when Einstein K9s is teaming up with Beauregard and Vernon Parish 4-H to provide local youth in the area with a fantastic, educational DOG CLUB for 2026 school year!

🔵 Open to ages 9 - 18, the Dog club's program will focus on learning:

👉 The history of dogs' domestication and evolution
👉 Difference in breed characteristics and how to choose the right one for you
👉 Anatomy and physiology
👉 Basic cost and care of a dog
👉 Proper nutrition and health
👉 Dog body language and communication
👉 Dog bite safety
👉 Types of employment that include dogs

🔵 Will include hands-on dog training and activities like:

👉 Basics Obedience skills
👉AKC canine good citizen and star puppy
👉 Nose work / Scent detection
👉 Tricks
👉 Dog fitness
👉 Competitions and so much more!

🔵 2 meetings a month led by Certified Professional Dog Trainer Savannah Dubose at Einstein K9s Dog Training in Deridder located at 216 Mahlon Street.

🗓️ Meeting will be held ever other sunday starting september 13th @ 3:00pm.

💰 $40 will be needed to join this year to help cover cost of materials as well as utilities of the building.

‼️ Last date to sign up / pay dues is October 11th.

Group classes are held at 216 Mahlon Street Deridder, LA. The dates below are START DATES.
Each class takes place for 1 hour on the same day and time for 6 weeks in a row.

✅ Puppy classes ✅ (puppies 8 weeks - 5mo)
Level 2 classes start immediately after level 1 classes on the same day and time for an additional 6 weeks. $155 /puppy

◾️Level 1 AUG 22nd @ 5:00pm (Saturday)

✅ Basics classes ✅ (dogs 6mo and older)
Level 2 classes start immediately after level 1 classes on the same day and time for an additional 6 weeks. $155/dog

◾Level 1 AUG 18th@ 6:00pm (Tuesday)

◾️Level 1 AUG 22nd @ 3:00pm (saturday)

◾️Level 2 AUG 29th @ 4pm (saturday)

✅ PRACTICE CLASSES ✅ (all ages but for dogs who have complete minimum level 1 class.)
Covers basics - advance obediance skills along with CGC, CGCU, and CGCA test items.
Great way to get some extra practice in when needed around other distractions.
$75 for 6 sessions. They dont have to be consecutive.

◾️Wednesdays @ 5pm $75 / 6 sessions

◾️Wednesdays @ 6pm $75 / 6 sessions


💵 PRICE 💵
◾$155/ dog for a 6-week class
◾$255 for both level 1 and 2 classes PACKAGE.
◾$255 for level 1 class and 2 - 1hr private sessions.
◾$55 deposit is due upon enrollment to reserve your spot. The remaining balance isn't due till the first day of class.

💉 Must be up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and will need to present veterinary records.

For dogs with aggression or extreme anxiety, I offer private one-on-one training sessions for their comfort.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT PRACTICE CLASSES

In preparing the dogs to eating out with their owners, we practiced leave it when food falls to the floor.

Ideally, the dogs act like they dont even notice the food falling and automatically leave it alone without being asked.

This can only be accomplished through repetition and continued practice.

Way to go guys.

Last weeks Wednesday night practice class we spent the time preparing the dogs for eating out places.

Here we set them up to where the dogs are under the table or the owners chair as best they can be. Then one by one they took turns getting up, walking around the tables, and coming back to their seat.

Way to go guys!
