Our Summer Pet Photo Contest is back!

We love seeing how everyone's furry family members have enjoyed the summer. To participate, just upload a photo of your pet by Monday, September 7th and we will pick a winner at random on September 8th. The winner will receive a $30 credit for MountainView products or services.

Here is an update on the pups we helped deliver - and the mom. 🩷

The Jellicle Ball has begun! 🎭🐾
The wait is over… Jennyanydots welcomed five beautiful puppies on August 25! Four girls and one very handsome boy have officially made their debut. 🍼💕

Keeping with our Cats theme, please welcome:

▪️Jellylorum�▪️Mistoffles- our one and only boy!

There is one more little Jellicle who will be taking a different path. One of the girls was born with a cleft palate and will be transferred to another rescue that specializes in caring for these very special babies. We are so grateful she will have the specialized care she needs to give her the best possible chance. ❤️

For now, things are quiet in the nursery. All four puppies ate well overnight and are nice, warm, and quiet. The neonatal period is a fragile and unpredictable time. Even when puppies are warm, eating well, and looking good, things can change quickly in these first days. We're watching this little family closely and taking things one day, and sometimes one feeding at a time.

Mama Jennyanydots is cleaning and checking on her babies, but those maternal instincts haven't quite kicked in yet. We're giving her time and helping make sure her little ones get everything they need while she figures out this whole motherhood thing.

And yesterday brought another unexpected development: Jennyanydots tested positive for heartworm. So while her puppies are getting their start in the world, Mama has another medical hurdle ahead of her that will need to be addressed once she is ready.

It's already been quite an opening act for this little family and there is a lot more ahead.

The MountainView team was treated to a very relaxing cruise on the Navesink Queen out of the Atlantic Highlands last weekend. It was wonderful to have some time to gather as a group and socialize on the water.
