Mono needs a home. One of our wonderful clients has found Mono as a baby and taken him in but is unfortunately unable to keep him as his apartment complex will not allow it. Mono is a 7 month old male cat who is all about snuggles, making biscuits and getting love.
He still needs all his vetting, including shots, bloodwork and neutering but our office take care of all this to whomever would like to adopt this wonderful little one 🧡
Please call or text us at 973-625-5300 for more information

✂️ Did you know that euthanasia is the #1 killer of companion animals? ✂️

Spaying and neutering impacts over-population—and so much more!

Spay/neuter is a critical part of rescue. In addition to preventing the over-population that leads to the euthanasia of so many homeless pets, spaying and neutering dogs and cats can prevent devastating illnesses, such as cancer of the reproductive organs, as well as many unwanted behavioral issues.

Over-population in cats is even more prolific. Springtime brings with it an overwhelming amount of kitten litters. A kitten born in the spring will likely be pregnant by the fall. A mother cat can get pregnant again before her kittens are 4 weeks old! This uncontrolled baby boom leads to unthinkable amounts of starvation, illness, and death. Spaying and neutering can prevent this suffering.

As we close out February's Spay & Neuter Awareness Month, Eleventh Hour Rescue reminds you that spaying and neutering your pet offers significant health benefits, contributes to population control, improves the overall well-being of both you and your pet, and keeps unwanted animals out of shelters.

⚠️🚨 Attention pet owners ‼️

The recent (unannounced) closure of Save This Life, a pet microchip company, has left many pets unprotected.

If your pet has its Save This Life microchip scanned, owner information and data will no longer pop up, causing potential disaster if your pet gets lost. Your pet’s microchip will be untraceable.

To ensure your pet's safety, verify their microchip registration with another provider ASAP!

"Chips can be registered with a new company using the same chip,” Brian Lippai, chief of administrative services with the Ocean County Health Department (source: USA Today)
