area. A team of residents joined together by Mickey Mack, our lead angel who has shown compassion and caring for animals for several years.

“Where dogs and cats find their angel.”

Angels to the Animals is a 501(c)3 animal rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted, abused or neglected animals in the Lincoln County, N.C. Our ragtag team care for neglected, chained and forgotten dogs throughout Lincoln County by providing food, water, shelter/straw, vet/medical care, spay/neuter, fences, walking and lots of love. We are able to do what we do with assistance from HATS, Heart of the Carolina's Animal Ministry, Lincoln County No-Kill Animal Shelter as well as many generous individual donors. Our ultimate goal is to be able to re-home these wonderful animals into loving foster/adoptive homes whenever possible. Thank you for joining us! We are so glad you did!

📣📣 REQUEST TO HELP TRI-COUNTY RESCUE

If you recall about 10 days ago there was a dog we were asked to help that had been abandoned by her family and I put out a plea but then found out that the person who was keeping her overnight had decided to keep her and was going to be taking her to the vet later in the week.
Come to find out, that person did NOT keep this poor senior, but instead contacted Animal Control who took her in last weekend. 😭
I have since learned that Joanne with Tri-County Rescue has taken Layla in as of yesterday and plans to keep and love her herself until sweet Layla's days on earth are over. Bless her heart!!!!
Layla saw the vet yesterday at Eastridge Animal Hospital and x-rays showed her heart is more than double normal size. She is a VERY OLD girl (15 yrs old) that needs a soft place to land and live out her days...which she will now have with Joanne. She says Layla is super sweet, responds well to her other dogs, loves to be petted and has found a bed that suits her while she is settling in!

She's on 3 medications: Vetmedin, Benazepril and Lasix, all for congestive heart failure. These are very expensive medications.
I would love to show some financial support to Joanne and her rescue for helping Layla for whatever time she has left.
If you would like to help,
you can call in a payment to Eastridge Hospital at 704.869.9400 to help with future vet visits and meds or directly to her Rescue in one of the following ways:

Zelle: 704.451.0006
Venmo:
CashApp: $TriCountyRescue
Checks: TCAR
PO Box 483
Alexis, NC 28006

Let's help Layla and Joanne's wonderful rescue with these bills!

📣📣 UPDATE: THE OWNER FOR THIS PUP CAME FORWARD SO SHE IS BACK HOME WITH HER FAMILY!!!

Foster call! This sweet girl needs a foster asap. Approx 8 mos old. Has already seen a vet and rec'd updated vaccines and meds for ear infection. Believed to be full GSD. Staying in a crate in a garage to decompress and easily goes into crate and does well (quiet). No potty accidents in crate or garage so likely potty trained. Have not had her around other animals yet but loves belly rubs and to play with her toys. Treat motivated and no resource guarding or signs of any aggression.

We provide all her needs!
