Requiring pets to be on a leash or in a carrier before entering a vet clinic, or any other public space for that matter, serves several important purposes:

🐱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆: Cats, being naturally curious and sometimes easily stressed, should always be transported in a secure carrier. Carriers provide a comforting space for your feline friends, reducing their stress levels and ensuring their safety. If you don't have a carrier, worry not! We have cardboard carriers available for purchase at the clinic.

🚨 Tick borne Illnesses on the Rise!

We have seen an alarming increase in the number of tick-borne illnesses affecting pets in our community. As of now, we have diagnosed and treated 22 cases of tick-borne illnesses.

Ticks are spreading nasty stuff like Lyme disease, Ehrlichiosis, Anaplasmosis, and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever to our furry pals. We want to make sure your pets stay safe and healthy!

Here are some tips to protect them:
🐾 Use tick preventatives (ask us for the best options).
🐾 Check your pets for ticks after outdoor adventures and remove them pronto.
🐾 Keep your pets away from tick hotspots like tall grass and wooded areas.
🐾 Vaccinations can give them an extra layer of protection.

This charming pup came in for his heartworm test and to get his heartworm and flea/tick preventions. We're happy to report that Clyde's heartworm test came back negative.🩺❤️

We had a man call some folks last night claiming to be from our animal hospital. He used our name on his caller ID and attempted to ask for money. He first called our hospital claiming to be a police offer. We will never ask for your CC information over the phone. If you ever have a concern please hang up and call us directly. The only way that we take payment at our hospital now is in-person, or via secure link. Be vigilant as this person was very persuasive.
