Every dog in these photos deserves a chance. We want to say yes to all of them. We want to pull them from overcrowded shelters, get them to safety, and give them the future they deserve.

But we can’t do that without foster homes.

Summer is one of the hardest times of the year for rescue. People are traveling, schedules are busy, and foster homes become scarce. Meanwhile, the dogs keep coming. The shelters keep filling. The need doesn’t slow down.

Right now, there are dogs waiting for us to help them—but we need our community to step up first.

Fostering saves lives. It’s that simple. We provide the supplies, medical care, support, and guidance. You provide a safe place for a dog to land while they wait for their forever family.

If you’ve ever considered fostering, this is your sign. Even a few weeks can mean the difference between life and death for a dog in need.

We can’t save them without you. Apply to foster through our website today. ❤️

Have you ever seen such soulful brown eyes?! 😍 Meet Winston, a chihuahua/pittie puppy who’s basically a professional cuddler with a side gig in playtime.

He’s almost fully potty trained, sleeps through the night in his crate like a dream, and is SO food motivated that training feels like a party. He’s already nailing sit! Plus, he does well with dogs, cats, and kids.

Winston is equal parts adventure buddy and nap partner. Desk work, couch time, backyard hangs, brewery patios. Wherever you are, that’s where he wants to be.

Dinkie is the embodiment of a happy boy. ☀️💛

Just a few weeks ago, Dinkie was sitting in a kill shelter in New Mexico with an uncertain future. When our team met him at our spay and neuter clinic, we knew he deserved so much more. One look at him and we said, “you’re coming home with me.”

Now this 2-year-old Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix is living his best life in Denver, soaking up every moment with his foster siblings and learning that cuddles on the couch are pretty great, too.

Dinkie is the definition of a social butterfly. Humans are his favorite thing in the world, and he’s convinced every dog he meets is about to become his new best friend. Friendly, happy, affectionate, and always smiling, Dinkie is ready to bring endless joy to the family lucky enough to call him their own. 🥰🐾🌻

Meet Lily, a 7-month-old pittie from Clovis, NM who was saved just hours before euthanasia along with her sister Rose. 🌺

Lily had only known the outside world before this, but now she’s all in on the indoor life (beds, toys, AC, the works). She’s crate trained, potty trained, sleeps through the night, adores the two kiddos in her foster family, and learned stairs in a single day because she’s that smart. Still gaining confidence on walks, but growing braver every day.

This girl is looking for the family who’ll help her keep blooming into the dog she’s meant to be. Link in bio to fill out an adoption application 💜

Say hello to Ruby 🤍

This 2-year-old cattle dog mix came our way from Clovis, NM — same community where we spayed/neutered all those dogs a few weeks back. And now, she’s here, and has fully blossomed into the goofiest, sweetest little adventure buddy.

She’ll fetch, chase squirrels, and patrol the yard with you all day, then melt into the couch like the off-duty princess she is. She’s crate trained, basically nailed potty training, great with kids, and a total pro with other dogs. (Cats are simply too chaseable and we respect the honesty.)

Ready to steal the whole couch — or, better yet, your heart. Link in bio to apply 💛

Every dog in these photos is alive today because someone said yes to fostering.

Not because we had space.
Not because we had funding.
Not because we had a kennel.

Because someone opened their home.

The reality is simple: we cannot save dogs without foster homes. Every single dog we rescue needs somewhere to go, and lately, finding fosters has been harder than ever.

We now have more than 1,000 approved fosters in our network, yet we’re struggling to find placements. Summer is historically one of the hardest times of year for shelters and rescues. Intakes increase, adoptions slow down, and the need for foster homes becomes critical.

If you’ve been thinking about fostering, this is your sign.

We provide all supplies, cover all medical care, and there is no out-of-pocket expense to you. Some foster commitments are only temporary, but the impact lasts a lifetime.

A foster home is the difference between us saying “yes” and us having to walk away.

Foster applications can be found on our website. We need you now more than ever. For a rescue dog, a foster home isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a second chance. ❤️🐾

🌸 Meet Mayflower 🌸

Mayflower is another Clovis survivor. She is about 3 years old and the total package wrapped up in one goofy, lovable pittie mix. This absolute ham sandwich lives for belly rubs, couch cuddles, and being as close to her people as possible. She’s the kind of dog who will dramatically flop over for attention and look at you like you’re her whole world.

She’s leash trained, house trained, and crate trained. She truly just wants nothing more than to be the best girl for someone who will love her forever. 🤍

Mayflower’s story hasn’t been easy. She was found wandering the streets of Clovis, New Mexico, severely emaciated while trying to care for her 10 puppies. Through no fault of their own, they were placed on the euthanasia list. We were able to save Mayflower just in time, but heartbreakingly, her babies did not survive.

Despite everything she’s been through, Mayflower is still full of love, trust, and hope. She greets life with a wagging tail, a silly personality, and the biggest heart imaginable. Now it’s finally her turn to be spoiled, cherished, and safe.

Mayflower deserves the kind of forever home where she’ll never have to worry again. She deserves endless love, soft couches, and all the belly rubs she wants. 🐾✨
