Pepper's Promise Pepper's Promise is a nonprofit animal sanctuary in Delco, PA, dedicated to the care and safety of our residents. We are home to 30+ goats and ponies.

Snoots is at least 14 and is one of the oldest goats at the sanctuary.

She moves a little slower these days and gets extra care and one-on-one feedings. When she’s not snuggling with her son, Balls Mahoney, she demands lots of pets (and isn’t shy about letting me know when she wants more).

It’s hard watching an animal you love get older. But growing old was always the goal for these goats. Getting to be here for it is exactly why I do what I do 💚.
