When Mother Nature gives us a heat index of 106°, we bring the fun inside!

Our daycare dogs still get to play, socialize, and stay engaged in our climate-controlled indoor play areas because extreme heat doesn’t mean the fun has to stop!

Dogs can overheat quickly, especially during high heat and humidity, so we keep a close eye on our fur friends and make sure they have plenty of opportunities to cool down, rest, and enjoy indoor enrichment and activities.

Keeping our Purple Pack safe, and happily enriched is always our priority!

September’s Trick: Find It!

Today was our activity dogs first day working on Find It!, so we started out nice and easy while our pups learned the game. Each Tuesday throughout September, we’ll practice again and gradually increase the difficulty as they get the hang of it!

Find It! is a great way to encourage dogs to use their natural sniffing skills while building focus, confidence, and problem-solving skills.

We can’t wait to see how their skills grow throughout the month!
