Bo’s Total Eclipse of the Heart (known to us as Bo), is a sweet pony with a bright future ahead of him. Before he can safely move onto his forever home, he needs surgery to correct a condition called cryptorchidism, where one of his testicles have not descended. This isn’t simply a routine gelding procedure. Left untreated cryptorchidism can lead to ongoing hormonal behaviors, increased aggression, difficulties with handling, and a higher risk of future health complications. Correcting it now will make him safer, healthier, and better prepared for a successful life with his future family. At North Winds Rescue we believe every horse deserves the opportunity to thrive. This surgery is an investment in Bo’s, long-term well-being and adaptability, but it comes with a significant cost that we can’t cover alone.
