Rocco is the CUTEST thing! Nene Gutierrez is taking such good care of him and he has started his heartworm treatment! He will be traveling to Houston from RGV soon. Nene is helping him get his spark back. I am so grateful for her!

Rescue isn't always easy. We deal with wondering how we can fundraise. We stress about those we just cannot help. We deal with not so nice people in rescue, as well as, keyboard warriors who have no idea how emotionally taxing this is on us. But to take a dog, abandoned on the street at only 8 lbs, scared to death and feeling unwanted and gaining their trust, healing their heart and bodies and finding them sweet, wonderful people to love them forever, makes all the struggles worth it. ❤️❤️

Enjoy some Poppy updates. She's meeting new friends, resting safely and securely in a home and is being loved 1000%!!

Welcome Rocco!

The wonderful trapper Nene Gutierrez did it again! ❤️ She saved this poor guy, she named Rocco, from the streets. Sadly, his sister was run over! She will be letting him decompress and gain some trust. Then we will have him vetted and transported to me, so I can learn his personality and find the perfect home for him. His life just got a whole lot better!!! Let's watch for his glow up!! More details coming soon once we have them.

Update on Poppy!! She is doing so well in her new home, with her new loving family, and her new dog pals! From RGV to AZ!! Huge Thank you to Nene Gutierrez for trapping this baby! She was the first step to Poppy's new life!

Cooper is such a foxy young lady! I may need a DNA test to determine her breed aside from husky mix, lol!! She is so unique! I've had her in rescue about 3 months and she has not grown a bit! She will remain schmedium and is the perfect size for an apartment, dorm or home. Cooper is 18 lbs and 8 months old! She is dog friendly and kennel trained. We are still working on potty training, but she is so smart and is catching on quick! If you know anyone looking for a new best friend, send them my way! ❤️❤️.

Poppy and I made it safely to Phoenix, AZ and we were met by her new, adoring, sweet, loving family!!! This is what rescue is all about at the end of the day; healing the broken and finding them the perfect homes! My heart is overjoyed at every adoption! ❤️❤️❤️ Can't beat the feeling of connecting new best friends!!

Today is Poppy's last day here and you can tell by her face, she is over all these other dogs! She is going to relish in her new home with her new family! We fly to Phoneix tomorrow!
