A Boykin Kind of Love 🤎
A little brown face and the sweetest eyes,
A heart full of love in a cuddly disguise.
With soft, curly ears and a mischievous way,
A Boykin brings joy to an ordinary day.
So clever and curious, eager to go,
With more personality than one dog should know.
Through fields and the water, steady and true,
Your happiest hunting days as two!
But once you are home, there’s a new job to do:
Find room on the sofa, curled up next to you.
A champion of naps, a snuggle-bug heart,
Convinced that your lap is the very best part.
They’ll race through the yard with a leaf as their prize,
Then look for your smile with those bright loving eyes.
And somehow they know when the day has been rough…
A head on your knee says, “You’ve done quite enough.”
A partner for adventures, a friend through the years,
For muddy-boot mornings and quiet, shared tears.
Wherever life leads you, whatever you do,
Your little brown shadow will choose to love you.
