Sorry if you've had a hard time reaching me lately. Michelle has been subbing full time since January. She usually handles scheduling. Spring is always a busier time of the year for farriers as everyone is ready to get back in the saddle. If you are still needing an appt, please message us on Due 4 shoes Farrier Services. This weeks schedule will most likely be changed as there was a sudden death in George's family. We are waiting to hear when viewing and services may be. Thank you for patience and understanding during this time. We appreciate your business and hopefully will be back on track by Monday. If family waits until the weekend for services, then George will be able to work as usual.

Just a heads up....due to flooding and expected rainfall again today....the farrier's schedule could change in a moments notice for the next couple days. If yoy are on the schedule for today or tomorrow, please give us a heads up if your area roads are flooded. Stay safe everyone.

Unfortunately, like most businesses, the farrier business is getting hit with price increases to the products we use in our every day work. In order to remain profitable, we must pass along these increases. We will do our best though to still keep pricing affordable in today's economy. New prices will start June 1, 2025. At this time, trims will remain the same price. Increases will occur for all shoe jobs.

George will be out of town with his family from Weds April 23rd-Monday April 28th. He will return to work on Tuesday April 29th. He, his Dad and stepmother will be flying to NC to visit with his sister. Prayers for safe travels and a much deserved rest!

Well, here we are nearly at the end of 2024!! We hope you all enjoyed all the things and people you love during this holiday season! We certainly did! It was a crazy year with lots of setbacks and changes but we survived and are ready for a brand new year! Bring on 2025! I have the appointment calendar for next year and have already set many appointments through the end of the year for several clients. If you are ready to get on the books for 2025, send me a message and we will get dates checked on. We will be trying to balance our work life and home life a little better this year which means we will be closed for holidays and a couple vacations for ourselves. We look forward to continuing to offer quality hoof care and seeing you in the new year!
