In honor of my dear friend of nearly 40 years, Ginny Palmieri, I am throwing my full support behind The Ripple Effect Memorial Fund — a safety net for pet owners navigating acute medical crises.

The goal is simple and vital: no one should be forced to surrender their animal companion while fighting for their own health.

I didn't create this — but I believe in it completely.

The fund is currently in Phase 1: building a community list and selecting a non-profit partner. Please help by joining the mailing list. Your name matters at this stage.

Many thanks to the incredible team of volunteers at the Breakaway Action Dogs ORT today. It's always a pleasure to judge at BAD's odor recognition tests, and today was no exception. Congratulations to all the teams who passed their tests, learned something new, or earned titles!
