It’s been a little quiet here on the Happy Hooves Helpers page lately, so I wanted to give everyone an update!

First and foremost, thank you all for your patience, support, prayers, messages, and understanding over the last month while my family focused on my dad’s recovery following his emergency surgery. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has checked in on us. The good news is that Dad’s neck brace comes off June 11th, and we are hopeful life will start returning to a more normal routine soon after.

As things settle back into place, I’ll be reaching out to students regarding lessons. Going forward, our lesson schedule may look a little different. Rather than offering lessons exclusively on weekends, we are considering opening one or two weekday options while reserving part of the weekend for training rides and horse development. More details will be coming soon as we work through the schedule that best serves our students and horses.

On the farm sitting side of Happy Hooves Helpers, everything has continued running smoothly thanks to the help of Courtney and Brooklynn. Their dedication and willingness to step in during this busy season has meant more than I can put into words, and I am so thankful for them.

I am officially reopening my farm sitting calendar in two weeks! If you are looking for farm sitting services, please reach out soon. We are already booking through the remainder of 2026, and dates are beginning to fill.

Thank you all for your continued support of Happy Hooves Helpers. I’m excited to get back into the swing of things and see what the rest of the year has in store!

“The Butt of a Farm Hand” 🤎🐴

While I’ve been spending the last week helping care for my dad after coming home from the hospital, one thing I’m always thankful for is that Happy Hooves Helpers keeps going because of the people behind it.

When Courtney’s little boy Noah first started tagging along to jobs with us… he was crawling around the barn aisles and may or may not have sampled a little sheep poo 🫣😂

Now here we are — muddy britches, running to the donkeys, checking on the sheep, and completely fascinated by the chickens and ducks every visit.

These animals and this lifestyle become part of these kids’ hearts so early, and honestly that’s one of my favorite parts of what we do. Farm kids are built different 🤎🌾

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms out there — the horse moms, barn moms, and all the women who spend their days caring for everyone around them. 🌷🐴

So much of what happens behind the scenes at the barn is because of the love, support, sacrifice, and hard work of mothers. From early mornings to late nights, hauling to lessons, cheering from the sidelines, and caring for animals like family — today we celebrate you.

Wishing all of our Happy Hooves Helpers families a beautiful Mother’s Day filled with love, animals, and time spent with the ones who matter most🌸

I wanted to update my clients, students & everyone who supports Happy Hooves Helpers

My dad recently suffered a serious neck injury and had surgery this past week. I’ll be stepping back for a little while to focus on being there for him as he recovers.

Because of this, I may be slower to respond and a little quieter on here than usual.

That said—please don’t worry if you’re currently on my books. My incredible team, Courtney and Brooklynn, will be taking over farm sitting and daily care. They are people I trust wholeheartedly, and your animals are in the best hands!!!

I do plan to offer limited lessons on Sundays when I’m able. Please contact Echota Farm for more information.

Thank you all for the continued support, prayers, patience, and kindness. This community means everything to me! 🤍

Busy day yesterday at Echota Farm and one of those days that reminds me why I love this life.

Quincy and Miracle got some much-needed work in with desensitizing and round pen play, the vet came for annual shots, Halo had his first bath here at the farm, and I got to keep building trust with my redhead.

One of the sweetest moments of the day was little Precious have her first ride — a huge milestone for a two-year-old mini!!!

We got everyone done before the rain rolled in, and I went home grateful for another day at the farm!
