Just a reminder, the Oak shows (National Dog Show included) close tomorrow! Who will we see there?

10/27/2026

It was a beautiful fall day here! Let’s make a positivity thread, comment below something good happening in your life or community right now. We’ll start: Sue Burrell had a fun and successful weekend at the shows this past weekend, and the rest of the team had a blast on puppy duty back home.

Hi folks! Just a reminder handling class is canceled today as Sue is at a show. Enjoy your weekend, we’ll see you next time!

Wednesday night conformation class cancelled today, 10/7/26

Hi all, unfortunately Katherine is on "crate rest" after a recent knee injury, so class is cancelled tonight. We'll be back at it next week! Next week also marks the beginning of Basics and Bonding, and there are a few spots left- reach out if you'd like to sign up!

09/23/2026

Oh hey, we created a page on Nextdoor! We're still figuring out that platform, but if you use it, feel free to give our page some love. We'll be using that page to focus more on local news, classes/courses we're hosting, etc., and less on sharing our day-to-day adventures. It's a great way to keep up with events if you don't want to see as many personal posts.

Hi folks!
We are running a 6 week course perfect for new owners, rambunctious puppies, and dogs that are "stubborn" and refuse to listen. If you're looking to tame your pups behavior in time for the holidays, this is the course for you.

You and your dog will learn:
-The core obedience commands, like "sit", "heel", "lie down", and "off"
-Safety skills, like "stay", "come", "leave it", "drop it"
-Party tricks that are entertaining and the foundation for more intricate skills down the line like "touch", "sit pretty", "find it", "spin"
-Better communication skills using doggy body language cues
-How to build trust and increase your bond without relying on food
-How to easily do regular full body wellness checks, nail trims, etc. with no hassle
All breeds/mixes are welcome!

Spots are limited- this is NOT a drop-in class, so please call (978) 219-9152 to reserve your spot! This course runs Wednesdays at 5:30pm, October 14th through November 18th. $170/dog-handler team

Hi all!
We've been slacking on the updates as we navigated through the busy summer show season and helping to raise a litter of puppies. We finally feel like we're catching our breath, as the pups start to go home (😭) and the fall weather sets in.
Speaking of fall, the temps have been dropping, the leaves are turning, and the weather is perfect for hiking! It's important to remember we're still in full swing for tick season, though, so keep doing daily checks of you and your pets. It's been so bad this year, we've found ticks in all kinds of unusual places (including the refrigerator, on one memorable occasion. 😬)
