Jennifer's Pet Rescue We are a no-kill, non-profit, animal rescue organization located in Dallas, Georgia since 1998.

Skittles is a 1 year old, tan but also uniquely colored brindle, short haired, female, Chihuahua mix. She is about 15 lbs., super friendly and a little lap dog.

She was rescued from animal control when her time was up. She was found as a stray and her family never went looking for her. She is great on a leash, crate trained and great with other dogs.

She is heartworm negative, microchipped, dewormed, flea treated, up to date on all of her vaccinations for the year and is on monthly heartworm prevention.

Today the babies are 3 weeks old. This means they all received their 1st deworming (which they all said ick to) and they got to experience their very first taste test. Most were not impressed.

Their ears are up finally. Their eyes are all completely open and then look a little more puppy like and less 👽 like!

Chandler is ready for his new start! He is an 11 lb., 3 year old, short haired, solid red, Chiweenie mix. He is just the cuddliest, sweetest boy ever. Hes great with kids, other dogs and never met a stranger. He was rescued from animal control when his time was up.

He is heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea treated, up to date on all of his vaccinations for the year, and on monthly heartworm prevention

Meet Gunner!

This German Shorthaired Pointer was pulled from a local shelter about 2 months ago and we've been hard at work at feeding him puppy food and fattening this skinny man up. He was a bag of bones, with a pretty big wound that needed to heal and was not doing well at all in a shelter/kennel situation. But he's very happy here at the rescue now, finally got up to 44 lbs. and adjusts very quickly to his much better life.

He's super crate trained and leash trained so we assume he had a family that just never went looking for him and certainly didn’t take the best care of him. He is heartworm negative, microchipped, dewormed, flea treated, up to date on all of his vaccinations for the year and he is on monthly heartworm prevention.

He weighs 44.4 lbs. but should weigh closer to 48 lbs. He's approximately 2.5 years old and so sweet. And he refused to sit for his photo shoot, so we'll have to work on that, he prefered to point, which wasn't what we were looking for!

Meet Stella and this is how Stella Got Her Groove Back!!!

She is 18 months old and full grown at 32 lbs. She is just the sweetest thing ever. We guess she is a Border Collie mix and we rescued her several weeks ago from animal control. She was all beat up and full of milk. No puppies were ever found and about a month of TLC and this girl has got her groove back!!!

She is heartworm negative, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, flea treated, up to date on all of her vaccinations and on monthly heartworm prevention.

Sometimes when an old friend asks for help at the shelter she manages, you just have to say yes.

This mama and her 4 babies needed out for various reasons. They only weigh about 1 lb. right and we're going to leave them with mama for a few weeks. So we aren't taking applications quite yet. But keep checking back and we'll post updates on their progress.

MEET JINGLES!

This sweet girl really needs a home. She was rescued back around Christmas time and lived in a filthy RV. We rescued her, along with all the other animals that were living in the RV with her. She nursed her babies who all got adopted and now it's her turn.

She is just under 10 lbs. and fully vetted for the year. She's a short haired, chocolate and white, Chihuahua mix. She is so sweet, loves to cuddle and just rolls over for belly rubs.

Meet Jillian!

This sweet baby is ready to go home ASAP. She is literally the best girl ever! She is 4 years old, 8.4 lbs. and the most adorable little Poodle mix. She is great with other dogs, loves kids of all ages and is even fine with goats, chickens, cats and everyone she meets. She actually has a little problem and thinks everyone should be her BFF, you know the type! She is a happy go with flow kind of gal!

Loki is ready for his new start in life! And he's a really handsome gentleman! He's a 17 lb., wirey haired, black and tan, Terrier mix. He is 6 years old, was adopted from Jennifer's Pet Rescue several years ago, but unfortunately his family couldn't keep him. So we know he's used the good life and also always lived with another dog. He is also housebroken, crate trained and leash trained. What more could you ask for?

This sweet girl is ready for her new life! She is 13 lbs. and 3 years old. She's a female, tan and black, wirey haired, Terrier mix. She was surrendered by someone who had her a few weeks and realized she wasn't cut out for dog ownership, so we rescued her!

She loves to play, cuddle, is great with other animals and great with kids.

Millie is ready to go home asap. She is a female, tan and white, long haired, Chihuahua. She weighs 7 lbs. and is approx. 2 1/2 years old. She was rescued from the shelter when her time was up after bring picked up as a stray and her family never went looking for her. Which honestly happens all the time.

She loves to snuggle, is great with other animals and fine with older kids.

She is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, up to date on all of her vaccinations for the year, is dewormed, flea treated and on monthly heartworm prevention.
