Rainy is a beautiful purebred, blue merle Australian Shepherd with gorgeous blue eyes who will just melt your heart!

She’s one of the sweetest Australian shepherds you can imagine; she is so affectionate, wants to be a lap dog and will definitely live up to the Aussie title of “Velcro dog!”

Rainy gets along with all other dogs and people - she’s never met a stranger, she wants to meet and greet everyone and truly loves people of all shapes and sizes and colors as well as men, women and children! THOSE are very RARE qualities in an Aussie as they can be very picky, especially around men.

Rainy is meant to be a homebody; she’s more of a couch potato and a companion dog and defies the typical needs of the breed, especially “needs endless exercise, playtime, and nonstop physical stimulation.”

Rainy has a birth defect where her back legs are a little longer than her front legs. This is Rainy’s “normal” so she’s not in pain or unhappy and can self-limit if she feels like she’s had enough running around. However - she still LOVES wrestling around with other fun dog-buddies, running around a grassy yard and flopping in and out of lap-pools and puddles!

We have x-rays from the vet who has said that three-year-old Rainy has a normal lifespan for a standard Aussie ahead of her up to 14 or 15 years; she may have arthritis a couple of years earlier than other dogs but otherwise her condition is something that she’s used to and it’s not stopping her from being a wonderful loving Companion, playmate, Friend, and emotional support animal!

It’s funny the first few times to see how Rainy moves around indoors -nothing stops her but she looks like a polar bear! She gets onto the sofa if she wants to and onto the bed if she wants to! She loves running around the backyard and playing with any other dog who feels like playing but she doesn’t mind spending the day indoors on a comfy bed or the cool floor, either.

Meet Milo!

Milo is a handsome young adult@ Red Merle Mini Australian Shepherd with a sweet personality and a love for fetch — whether it’s a tennis ball or a frisbee! He walks very well on a leash and eagerly looks forward to his daily walks and outdoor time.

Milo is intelligent and learns new commands quickly, especially when treats are involved. He has had some agility training, though these days he much prefers relaxing and spending quality time with his people. He is affectionate without being overly demanding and absolutely loves attention and pets.

Milo is both house-trained and crate-trained. He is looking for a calm, loving forever home where he can enjoy a quieter lifestyle, a secure yard to explore, and plenty of love and companionship. He does well with other dogs, particularly those with calmer energy levels.

The ideal home for Milo would be with an Aussie-savvy individual or family without small children. He may take a little time to warm up, but once he bonds with you, he will become a loyal best friend.

If you think Milo could be the perfect addition to your family, please complete an application on our website below, then text Kevin so he can review your application and get back to you.

Who doesn’t love an ACROBAT? And a super-smart one at that! She doesn’t want to get wet BUT still wants to beat the Lab to the other couch

Look at sweet SCOOBY! He’s really adorable and funny. We’re not exactly sure what it is, but all breed software’s vets volunteers and friends lead to Basenji mix. Scooby is great with other dogs and people. He’s fully grown. He’s not a big dog at all! He’s funny and goofy and a great guy to pal around with; unlike a full Basenji he does make sounds but it’s more like the silly talking noises the original Scooby did! 💜 Joyful Jumpin’ Julie 💜

Julie is a jumping jack! She can jump 6 feet in the air - for someone who’s looking for a dog to play fetch to catch a ball to catch a frisbee basically to catch anything in the air, this is your girl!

Julie will be an amazing running partner for someone who wants to jog or run. She has the energy to keep up but then she knows how to tone down once she’s back inside.

If you’re interested in agility or any fun, canine games like barn chase or flyball Julie is SUPER SMART and a very quick study. Julie takes cues from other dogs really well, and if she had a dog to follow around that, I already knew how to do tricks she will learn even more quickly..

Julie’s energy is a good 8 to 9 on a scale of 1 to 10 ; she channels it really well with a lot of playtime, but she would do absolutely Vet with a playmate. She needs a young athletic male Companion, the bigger the better because this is a boss girl! She can keep up with any dogs activity level.

Julia is also extremely affectionate typical of an Aussie. She will follow a human from room to room to room not letting him out of your sight. In a good way, she’s not typical of a herding dog as far as chasing people around, but she definitely will chase other dogs around if they want to play! Indoors she’s extremely cuddly and she really wants to be as close to her people as possible.

Julie will make a great gal, wingman, chick magnet, BFF, co-pilot… anyone looking for a second in command will fall in love with Julie!

Julie is an adorable full grown puppy at just a year old. She’s ready to find her forever home.

If you’re looking for a very well, balanced, medium sized happy athletic and outgoing dog like Julie Please complete our application on the website below, then

💙💙 ADOPTED 💙💙

💙 The 3 Amigos - Elliot 💙

Elliot, Augustus and Ricky were found wandering stray together in a rural area before a very kind family took them in and kept them safe. These boys have come a long way, but they are still learning that people can be trusted. They are very timid at first and need patient, understanding homes that will allow them time to decompress and build confidence at their own pace.

Elliot is the bravest of the trio and now loves to climb onto the sofa to hang out with his people. Once he is used to his surroundings Elliot especially loves sleeping on the bed with his humans if they will let him!

Gus is still more of an observer. He is curious about humans but not quite ready to jump into the mix. He has started to venture out more often and will occasionally join into the activities of the humans around him.

Ricky is becoming more curious every day and wants to be part of the family activities but he is still gauging exactly how much he can trust humans compared to all the dogs around him that he loves.

All three dogs absolutely love other dogs and thrive around canine companions. They are playful, energetic and happiest when romping around with their dog friends. Because they are currently fostering in a home with eight total dogs they can become overwhelmed so we know they would blossom much faster in calmer homes with more individual attention.

They take treats more confidently and clearly thrive with love and affection — with continued patience, kindness, routine and another friendly dog to help show them the way, these sweet boys will be wonderful companions for both dog friends and humans!

We are looking for homes with Australian Shepherd experience; we’d like mature homes without children, calm environments and people who have the time and patience to work with the dog. If you feel it, you’ll be a great match Please complete the application on our website below then text:

💙💙 ADOPTED! 💙💙

ENZO is a VERY smart, affectionate young pup with a big personality and an even bigger heart.

Enzo already knows several commands including sit, lie down, and shake. He’s highly food-motivated and eager to learn, which makes training both fun and rewarding. In fact, he’s so clever that he’s even figured out how to open doors with pull-down handles!

This sweet boy is very devoted to his people and loves being part of the family. If someone leaves the room, Enzo will often wait patiently by the door or try to follow them.

When his people are in different places, he may happily trot back and forth between them to make sure everyone is still together. Enzo’s favorite moments are when the whole family is in the same place.

Like all young Aussies Enzo is still a fun, active, playful dog.
He loves carrying things around in his mouth—blankets, sleeves, or anything he can grab—and gets especially excited about toys and chew items.

Plastic bottles hidden in tube socks are one of his favorite things to chomp on, but I and he enjoys interactive playtime that keeps him busy and engaged.

Enzo is also quite the foodie! While he enjoys healthy treats like carrots, apples, and even a little yogurt, his absolute favorite reward is cheese.

Enzo would do best in a mature home with older children or adults. An active home where he can play, learn, and stay mentally stimulated would be ideal for him.

With his intelligence, loyalty, and playful spirit, Enzo is sure to be a wonderful companion a person or couple you have experience with Australian shepherds or other herding breeds.

We would REALLY LOVE Enzo to go to a home that had another dog for him to play with. Enzo would get along fine with either a male or a female, but one who is bigger than him, but also has moderate to high activity level and is interested in a playmate and canine companion.

🩷 Sweet SUGAR 🩷

PLEASE READ SUGAR’s BIO BEFORE TEXTING OR APPLYING; there is more to her than just being a pretty Red Merle mini Aussie 🩷

As sweet as her name, 18 month old Sugar is looking for her forever home.

Sugar was abandoned in Graham several weeks ago. After spending time in a foster home in Graham she’s now settling in here in Dallas—and she’s already come such a long way!

Sugar is still learning about the world. She’s very shy at first and will bark when meeting new people, but there’s ZERO AGGRESSION; she barks because of new circumstances and because she’s just learning to socialize with people, but the more people she’s meeting the better she’s getting!

Sugar becomes incredibly loyal and attached, happily following her person from room to room just to see what you’re doing. She’s curious, gentle, and quietly observant—almost cat-like in the way she explores, finds cozy hiding spots, and then pops back out when you call her name.

Sugar has adapted remarkably fast to indoor living!

Sugar is very quiet overall and rarely barks except when meeting someone new. I fully expect this to pass when she becomes settled in her new home .

Sugar enjoys the company of other dogs and would thrive with a calm, friendly companion—especially a male dog—who can help continue building her confidence.

Sugar has a lower energy level than a typical Aussie (at least for now). She recently had her first little “zoomie” moment—lasting about a minute—before returning to her favorite cozy spot like nothing happened. It was as if she surprised herself.

What Sugar Needs 🏡

Sugar is not a “project dog,” but she does need a patient, understanding home that will give her time to fully decompress and adjust.
• A calm home environment
• No small children (for now)
• Patient adopters who will help and encourage her as she transitions “from country dog to city dog”
• No pressure for busy outings, dog parks, or lots of visitors right away. Those days will come, but for now the comfort and security of being home with people she knows is what’s best for her transition time.

Some of these transitions include understanding, traffic, noise, vacuuming, garbage disposal etc. She’s been in my home for a couple of weeks and she’s used to all of those sounds. - she even stays close to me when I’m doing chores because she’s so inquisitive.

A Little More About Sugar 🐶

However, Sugar is NOT
prey-driven; she doesn’t chase squirrels or birds, so she should do well with dog-savvy cats.

Interested in Sugar? 🩷

If you feel like your home could be the right fit for this gentle, sensitive girl, please complete an adoption application from our website below.
