She has a passion for her lessons and horses to succeed in a healthy, safe, and rewarding way. She has trained for several Gold Medal riders including, Ron Smeets from the Netherlands, and Lisa Smit. In 2009 she worked in Holland breaking and training Olympic hopefuls, horses out of or related to Ferro, Sister de Jeu, and Gribaldi. Marian also rode in college, showing for North Georgia’s IHSA team
. While at North Georgia she received her degree in education. She taught lessons at Seldom Rest Stables for 8 years under Tracy Wilson. Through her showing and training experience she has adopted a training method that empowers the horse to become more supple and on the aids. This, in turn, leads to a more pleasurable riding experience. Currently, Marian is the coach for Mountain View Equestrian team and Hebron Equestrian team as well as having independent riders for several schools on her IEA team.
