We've had a challenging 45 days, especially with Wyatt. As a small 501c3 group, medical cases can hit us hard. Wyatt, at 8 months old, fought FIP, dropping from 9 lbs to just over 4. He suffered from severe diarrhea, loss of appetite, anemia, liver issues, and dehydration, requiring hospitalization. After his release, he went to a medical recovery home and is now almost 7.5 lbs and doing great. He will be available for adoption in mid-July.
Robbie also developed FIP, confirmed by his foster mom. After 84 days of treatment, he is gaining weight and is very playful with his bonded brother, Tommy. Both will be available for adoption in mid-July.
Max, a wonderful and loving boy, developed a toe infection. He's been undergoing ongoing treatment with antibiotics, foot soaks, debriding, and acupuncture. Max is currently available for medical sponsorship.
These three cases alone totaled over $2000, which is a significant amount for our small group. We would greatly appreciate any donations to help us continue our work. Please use one of the links below to donate and specify "Medical Donation" in the notes. Every contribution, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated.
