Spring Gap Farm (AK Equine) offers a secure and enjoyable environment where clients can learn horse riding and appreciate the sport. We provide a range of programs for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Our beginner programs are designed to be fun and engaging with horses. As clients progress, we gradually introduce the technical aspects of riding, allowing everyone to advance at a comfortable

pace. SGF participates in local horse shows, hunter paces, fox hunts, and many other exciting events. Located in Cumberland, Maryland, Spring Gap Farm invites you to join in the fun today! All services are available strictly by appointment, and instructional guided rides necessitate a 48-hour advance notice. We appreciate your cooperation.

Spring Gap Farm had a wonderful time visiting Grove Point Stables! Enjoying great horses, great company, and even better views. Days spent in the saddle with friends, laughter, and a little adventure are hard to beat.

🐎☀️ Counting down the days until Horsin’ Around Summer Camp at Spring Gap Farm!

There’s nothing quite like summer at the barn. Pony snuggles, riding lessons, barn laughs, dirty boots, and making memories that last long after camp ends.

Our campers spend their days learning horsemanship skills, enjoying hands-on horse care, playing fun games, and building confidence both in and out of the saddle.

We’re counting down the days to sunshine, saddle time, horsey adventures, new friendships, and unforgettable memories at the barn. From riding and grooming to fun games and hands-on horse care, camp is the perfect place for kids to learn, grow confidence, and have a blast all summer long.

Happy World Donkey Day to our favorite long-eared ladies, Macy Gray and Gracie May! 🤎✨

Whether Macy Gray is supervising the barn, demanding snacks (note the red icing), or keeping everyone entertained with her big personality, she makes every day brighter here at Spring Gap Farm. We’re pretty sure the farm runs on donkey opinions and attitude most days anyway. 😅

And not a day goes by that we don’t miss our sweet Gracie May. 🤍
