Meet Luna!🐾😍

At four-and-a-half years old, Luna is a spayed terrier mix who reminds us so much of Spuds MacKenzie with her adorable looks and sweet personality. She has wonderful leash manners, knows numerous commands, and rides well in a car.

Luna came from a home with other dogs, so she may do well with a canine sibling after a proper meet and greet. She has also done wonderfully with children during our community and adoption events, making her a great candidate for a family home. As for cats, she seems interested... maybe a little too interested, so a cat-free home may be the best fit.

Most of all, Luna is incredibly sweet and loves spending time with her people. If you're looking for a loyal companion who is ready for adventures, errands, lunch dates, and plenty of cuddles, Luna may be the perfect match.❤️

💕 Meet Brinley! 💕

Brinley is a beautiful, 2-year-old terrier mix who is looking for a family to call her own. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for her sweet personality to shine through. Once she's comfortable, she'll happily soak up all the cuddles and affection you have to offer!

This smart girl loves playing fetch and is always excited to go for car rides. She has done very well with children, and ignores cats, but has been selective about her canine friends. Any potential dog siblings would need to come along for a meet-and-greet to ensure a good match.

🌟 Meet Hemi 🌟

At 3½ years old, Hemi is looking for a very special person to call her own. To help set her up for success, Hemi would do best in a home where she can be the star of the show—without other pets or young children. That doesn't mean she isn't a wonderful dog. Quite the opposite! Hemi simply needs a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time to build. She forms deep bonds with her people, and loves with her whole heart, but it will take time.

One of our staff members came in on her day off today just to spend some extra time with Hemi in our agility park. Just look at that smile! 😊 She had so much fun! She is a big fan of treats and is happy to show off her impressive collection of tricks in exchange for a tasty reward.

Hemi may take a little longer to find her perfect match, but we know that person is out there. ❤️🐾

We had the BEST time at Mr. Toad's Pottery for Paint with Pups! Two of our incredible shelter dogs were in attendance and spent the time enjoying all the love and attention.

Luna, our sweet 4½-year-old girl, proved that she's as gentle as she is gorgeous.


Oreo, our handsome 1½-year-old boy, impressed everyone that stopped to meet him.

Both pups were absolutely wonderful with the children in attendance — tail wags, cuddles, and plenty of smiles all around. They are also both dog friendly.

A huge thank you to PetSmart for hosting today’s adoption event! It’s always wonderful to get our shelter pups and kitties out into the community where more people can meet them and learn about adoption.

We enjoyed meeting so many animal lovers, and we’re especially excited that one lucky pup left for a home trial! We’re keeping our paws crossed that it’s the perfect match.

Thank you to those who stopped by to visit, support, and share some love with our animals. Events like these make such a difference for shelter pets looking for their forever homes. 🐾
