We see a rise in heat-related illnesses every summer—and most are preventable.
𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 that can lead to organ failure or death if not treated promptly. 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲:

• 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴

🐾 Brachycephalic breeds (like bulldogs and pugs), elderly pets, and those with underlying conditions are especially at risk.

✅ Avoid midday walks—stick to early morning or late evening
✅ Always provide cool, clean water
✅ NEVER leave pets in parked vehicles
✅ Create shaded or air-conditioned rest areas

More dogs go missing on July 4th than any other day of the year.
Please keep your dogs inside!

It’s more than just fireworks that can scare your dog, it can be firecrackers, bottle rockets, roman candles ... let's keep our pets safe this 4th of July holiday!

𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸. Getting your dog exercised way before the human fun starts is the best idea.

𝗕𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴’𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘂𝗽-𝘁𝗼-𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿. Is your microchip registration current? Do you have an up-to-date picture, just in case?

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻. It’s a great day for your dog to stay inside and watch some Netflix, get a good belly scratch, and listen to mellow music.
