Today we are taking a break from promoting our upcoming clinics to celebrate one of our amazing staff members! ❤️

Kendall has been a dedicated member of the Public Vet family for so many years! Watching her work tirelessly toward her goals in veterinary school while also continuing to work alongside us at our clinics has been nothing short of amazing.

As part of her 4th year clinical rotations, Kendall had the opportunity to travel internationally to Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands. During her time abroad, Kendall had the chance to work with wildlife at the local vet school’s dedicated wildlife hospital and gather data on marine iguanas on the island. Most importantly, Kendall participated in a spay/neuter campaign in the rural communities of Ecuador with goals of expanding her knowledge in rural medicine practice so she could bring that home and apply it to Public Vet’s operations.

Congratulations, Kendall! We are all so proud of you and your dedication to the field. We can’t wait to see you hit the ground running as Dr. Moore very soon! ❤️🐾

About the Ear Tattoo
We have been hearing from many of you about the small tattoo in the ear of cats seen at our clinics. Thank you for reaching out. Your curiosity tells us you are paying attention to the cats in your community, and that matters.

The tattoo does two things. First, it shows that the cat has been spayed or neutered. Second, it links the cat to its medical record. With that link, we can identify the cat, review its care history, and connect it with the people who look after it.

If you find a cat with this tattoo and want to learn more, please call us at 707-633-0880. We are glad to help.
