It's getting chilly! 🥶Cold weather can affect your pet's joints, skin, activity, and routines. Here are a few tips to prepare your pet for wintertime:
- Provide a warm and cozy space off of the floor and away from drafts
- Sweaters or jackets are great for short-haired, small or senior pets
- Limit your pet's time outside in the extreme cold
- Some pets' nutrition needs might change during the winter. Talk to your vet if you think this might be the case.

Celebrating Tech Week this week!! Here at CVC we celebrate our ENTIRE support staff because this clinic could not run without each and every member! Today was Neon Day so we just wanted to get that photo in!! Thank you to every veterinary tech/assistant and customer service representative in our clinic. ❤️🥹😁❤️🥹😁

We said goodbye to a Crosby staple/legend today. Socks was 22 yrs young and he was a constant fixture at the clinic. His favorite thing to do was sit in front of a dog- just out of reach outside the exam room- and antagonize them until he was “escorted from the immediate premises” by a technician or receptionist. He was loved by many of the staff as well as clients, and it should be noted that it was stated multiple times today that “he was the only cat I ever loved”. Socks was omnipresent within our clinic, and touched the hearts of countless humans throughout the years. He will be forever missed. This little purr baby was a HUGE hit with Dr Patel and Karla! Chewbacca is an 11 week old Persian and he is the first feline addition to his family! Can’t wait to see him for his boosters!!

Meet Pepper!! He’s a 6 month old Pomsky who LOVES his toys 🥰. He came in for his final puppy shots yesterday, and he totally brightened Addy’s and Dr Minor’s day! 🤩❤️🤩

Six month old Tobi had a great time today during his first vet visit with Angel and Dr Knapp! Little Tobi loves playing with his toys back at his brand new home! 🥰

Some of the team went out today to do exams, vaccinations, and deworming on a “herd” of 27 different animals! Even though it was hot the day was beautiful and it was a good time!! Glad we were able to help all of these sweet animals out!

Crosby Veterinary Clinic opened its doors over forty years ago. It was founded by Dr. Harold Wagers, a well-respected veterinarian within the community. Over the years, Dr. Wagers built the clinic by providing invaluable veterinary care to animals of all shapes and sizes. Dr. Wagers retired recently and handed the clinic down to his associate veterinarians, Dr. James Hofmann and Dr. Darren Knapp.
