Texas Animal Rescue Rehab TXARR is a nonprofit foster based program. Texas Animal Rescue Rehab was founded in 2022 as an Independent Rescue.

EIN: 99-1465222
We save pets from shelters, help the abandoned & most neglected.
🐾🖤Restoring hope in ones who need it the most🖤🐾 We are now
a non-profit 501(c)3 animal rescue organization. We work to find good, loving forever homes for the many animals in need out there. Our adoption fees include the spay/neuter of our cats and dogs, vaccinations, testing for heart worms, microchips, flea & tick preventives, & heart worm prevention of age-appropriate dogs. Daily we receive a high number of requests for help. We will prioritize and help the most urgent first. Please do not reach out for help if you are not willing to foster an animal you picked up. We are foster based; all of our pets stay in homes while in our program.

🐾❤️ HAPPY PIT BULL AWARENESS DAY! ❤️🐾

Today we’re celebrating the big headed babies, their smiles, wiggly butts, and beautiful souls of the pit bulls we know and love!

At Texas Animal Rescue Rehab, we meet so many wonderful dogs who are overlooked simply because of their appearance or breed label. Behind those kennel doors are individuals with their own personalities—playful, shy, goofy, affectionate—and each deserves the chance to be seen and understood. ❤️

Every dog deserves responsible care, training, kindness, and a home that meets their needs. Get to know the dog in front of you. You might just meet your best friend. 🏡🐶

Celebrate with us by sharing a picture of your pittie in the comments! Let’s fill this post with those beautiful blockheads! 📸👇

🐾 SIGN UP TO BE A FOSTER WITH TXARR! 🐾

Want to help save a life but aren’t ready to adopt? Open your home temporarily to a dog who needs a chance. ❤️

Texas Animal Rescue Rehab is foster-based, which means we can only say YES when we have a safe place for a dog to go. Every foster home gives us the opportunity to help another abandoned, neglected, or urgent shelter dog.

🏡 Many dogs need just a 2–4 week commitment, while others need a little longer.
🐶 We provide supplies, cover approved veterinary care, and support you along the way.
💕 You provide a safe home, patience, and love while we search for their forever family.

You don’t have to be home all day or have rescue experience. We’ll help match you with a dog who fits your household.

📍 Fosters needed in the Houston, Crosby, Huffman, and surrounding areas!

📩 Ready to sign up? Comment on this post and a Director will reach out to you.

Can’t foster? Please SHARE—your share could help us find the home that makes our next rescue possible. 🐾
