Texas Animal Rescue Rehab Texas Animal Rescue Rehab was founded in 2022 as an Independent Rescue. We are now
a non-profit 501(c)3 animal rescue organization.

We rescue dogs from Houston-area shelters and from the streets and place them in permanent, loving homes across the United States through coordinated transport, with scheduled adoption stops in VA, PA, NJ, NY, MD, and CT. We work to find good, loving forever homes for the many animals in need out there. Our adoption fees include the spay/neuter of our cats and dogs, vaccinations, testing for heart

worms, microchips, flea & tick preventives, & heart worm prevention of age-appropriate dogs. Daily we receive a high number of requests for help. We will prioritize and help the most urgent first. Please do not reach out for help if you are not willing to foster an animal you picked up. We are foster based; all of our pets stay in homes while in our program.

She welcomed 5 adorable little meatballs into the world about 6 days ago.
Today we picked them up and they are now safe.

Meet Minkie! 🩷🐾

Minkie is one of the survivors from the hoarding case and is now ready to find the loving forever home she deserves. She was one of the healthier girls when she came into our care, and she has been thriving ever since.

At just 7 pounds and approximately 1 year old, we believe Minkie is a Rat Terrier/Dachshund mix. She is incredibly sweet and loves being close to her people. In fact, she’d much rather ride around in a purse or be carried than walk long distances!

💉 Up to date on Rabies, Bordetella & DHPP vaccines
❤️ Protected with ProHeart 6
🐶 Dog friendly
👧 Great with children 10 years and older
🏡 Working on house training / using pads well.

Minkie has come so far since leaving her previous situation, and now she’s ready for a family who will give her the love, patience, and security she’s always deserved.

Tater came to us from a hoarding situation and is now ready to find the loving home he deserves.

This tiny guy weighs just 5 pounds and is incredibly sweet. Because of his past, he can be a little nervous around other big dogs, but he loves people and is ready to continue building his confidence in a patient, loving home.

As part of their continuing healthcare, Minki, Tullie, Mochi & Tater are set to undergo Spay and Neuter procedures, including a pro❤️6 injection.

These four are presently the only ones among the ten animals deemed fit for surgery. The remaining six will be scheduled for spay/neuter procedures once they reach the required health standards.

We have raised $300 to cover today’s vetting for these four. We need roughly $225-$300 more depending on if the doctor needs to give them any nausea medicine. 💊

We have 4000+ followers, if everyone donated a quarter we would have more than enough to get these guys vetted.

Wren and Pippa are settling into their temporary foster home and finally getting the chance to experience what love and safety feel like. ❤️

These two sweet girls have already stolen our hearts. Despite everything they’ve endured, they remain incredibly gentle, loving, and trusting.

We can’t wait to continue helping them heal and, when the time is right, find each of them the perfect forever family. They deserve nothing less than a lifetime of love after all they’ve been through. 🐾💕

When you're making your emergency plans, don't forget your four-legged family members. A little preparation now can make a big difference later.

Tomorrow is a big day for Tater, Mochi, Minkie, and Tullie! ❤️

All four are scheduled to be spayed/neutered and will also receive their ProHeart injections to help protect them from heartworms.

✅ Neuters: 2 × $99 = $198
✅ Spays: 2 × $119 = $238
✅ ProHeart injections: 4 × $29 = $116

Total veterinary cost: $552

In addition, we’ll be paying one of our volunteers to drive these dogs from Crosby to the clinic—about 1½ hours each way—so they can receive the care they need.

We have already paid the deposits and their appointments are confirmed. The only problem is that, out of the entire group of 10 dogs from this cruelty case, we’ve only raised $100 so far.

Every dollar makes a difference. If you’re able to donate $5, $10, $20, or more, you’ll be helping cover these lifesaving veterinary expenses and ensuring these dogs are one step closer to finding their forever homes.
