Over the next few years additional females were added to our kennel as they exhibited some of the traits we were looking to establish in our own line of bluetick beagles. Hunter and I had a great morning. Rabbits were stingy about crossing the paths this morning. This was Penny's last time out as it's time to get ready for her upcoming litter.

Forgot to mention the Lucky Seven male ran hard all morning and never missed a beat. He just needed some conditioning. This fall he'll be bred to Mess. That's a litter I'm really looking forward to.

Hunter and I loaded up the whole kennel this morning and let em run. Great morning to be out running the dogs.

Hunter got the dogs out this morning. Dogs down were Spruce, Seven, Raven, and Mess. He said the dogs ran solid for three hours with some huge circles along a ridge and in a cornfield over 700 yards. Sounds like an awesome morning. He also said Spruce jumped the first rabbit of the morning.

Lucky Seven didn't appreciate us saying he couldn't take the heat. He was ON this morning in the heat getting first line in this video. He also jumped the last rabbit of the morning. Looks like I might of sold him a bit short and he simply needs conditioning. Nice addition to our pack.

Here's a photo of Lucky Seven cooling off in a mud puddle after running yesterday. He came down to us from New England and isn't a fan of the heat/humidity here in Virginia. Dogs down were Raven, Mess, Spruce, and Seven.

Hunter and I got the dogs out this morning. Spruce jumped each rabbit run this morning. Dogs down this morning were Penny, Raven, Blue Jay, Spruce, Mess, and Seven.

You can see Blue Jay on the right. She's getting gray like her grandad Joker. She's sure been a good one and the best all around jump dog I've ever had.

Hunter and I got this dogs out early this morning. Dogs down were Raven, Blue Jay, Mess, Penny, Spruce, and Seven. Had some great chases before it got hot just before lunchtime.

Hunter and I got the dogs out early this morning. Real pleased with Spruce as he picked up several checks and powered out of the checks with the mail. This dude is finishing out real nice.
