Magnolia Run Kennels is family owned and operated in Cranesville, Pennsylvania. We offer overnight housing for your pets in a beautiful country setting!

Magnolia Run Kennels was named in honor of the first dog we had as a married couple, Magnolia Grace (Maggie). We moved to our property before having children, but had four dogs who we loved very much. As dog lovers, re-opening the kennel that was already established, over fifteen years ago, seemed like a great idea!! We are now a family of five, all dog lovers, and we enjoy all the dogs who visit the kennel.

Hello! With a very sad and heavy heart, Magnolia Run Kennels has made the extremely difficult decision to close. There’s a possibility we could reopen in the future. For now, with me moving and Zack and Alysha (who have taken over the kennel recently) as well as myself all working full-time jobs, not to mention trying to change over the insurance, the licensing and transferring over ownership paperwork, it is a lot right now and we all think it will be difficult to give as much attention to the kennel as we would like.
So, unfortunately, we have decided that for now we will close down. If you already have reservations booked, we will honor them, but the plan is to close by November 15.
We truly appreciate all of your support over the years. We have absolutely loved getting to know you all and your furry family members. It has truly been a joy! We thank you so much for your understanding ❤️

Hello! Just another reminder that we have passed the kennel along to our niece and nephew, Alysha and Zack Kitchen. It wasn’t really expected, but it’s the way things worked out, and we could not be happier that they will be running the kennel.
I will still be helping and I’m more than happy to be available if needed, but they will be primarily running the kennel. Over the years I have always enjoyed being able to help people out by giving discounts, because it was really a side job and fun for me. Alysha, however will be truly running it as a business and so I don’t want to ever put either of them in a difficult or awkward situation when they’re hoping to really run things full-time and actually earn a living.
Everything will pretty much stay the same, but as a reminder, the rates are $25 per night for one dog and $15 a night for a second dog and there are still no extra fees 😊 I believe we continue to be the most affordable kennel around.
Again, I am more than willing to answer questions or take reservations, but moving forward the best thing to do would be to contact Alysha directly at (814) 881-7674. The email and kennel number will remain the same for now, [email protected] and (814)774-4471.
The families that we have worked with over the years have been amazing!! We have made some great friends, and I’m excited that Alysha and Zack will be able to meet you all, and hopefully make some new friends as well. ❤️
Here’s a few pictures of some of our recent friends who visited. They are all so awesome 😉

Hello friends! A bit of exciting news from Magnolia Run Kennels…
We are currently in transition and big positive changes are coming. It has been a challenging season for us as my husband has had some pretty serious medical issues that we’ve been trying to figure out. We feel it is time for us to simplify a little, and our niece and nephew are going to be moving into our home, as we move just a few miles away. They have always wanted to run a kennel, as they are dog lovers also and have been helping us throughout the years. I will still be involved, since I won’t be far away, but they will be the main people running the kennel. Nothing else is going to change right now and you can still reach out to me via email at Magnoliarunkennels.com or call or text my cell phone. You can also reach out to my niece Alysha at (814) 881-7674.
We will be working together during these next few months so everything runs smoothly as they get to know our guests, and we will all make sure your furry family members continue to get lots of love and attention! If you are already scheduled for a visit, we are excited about your upcoming stay and Alysha and I will be sharing the calendar. We look forward to continuing to work with you all as it has been truly awesome to work with you all.
We so appreciate your support and patience while we transition ❤️
Lots of love, Gayle

I suppose that since summer is officially over, we should highlight some of our summer friends. We have some amazing dogs who come and spend time with us 😊 Can’t wait to do it again next year!
(this summer was a little crazy, I got a new phone carrier and struggled a bit, so I didn’t get as many pictures as I would like, but I’ll do better next summer!)
