Over the past few years, our shop has experienced incredible growth. With that growth has also come some challenges. Like many small businesses trying to scale, keeping up with demand has not always been easy. Our turnaround times have been longer than we’d like, and at times our communication hasn’t been as consistent as I strive for it to be. For that, I sincerely apologize.
The good news is we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to improve. We’ve been hiring and training new employees and are building a strong team of talented craftsmen who take pride in the work we do here at Furever Soft Tannery and Taxidermy. Every week we’re getting more efficient and improving our processes, and things are steadily getting better.
Because we’ve been so busy, there are times I’m not able to answer phone calls or messages as quickly as I would like. Please know it’s not because we don’t care—it’s because we’re in the shop doing the work and trying to keep everything moving forward.
At this point we are nearly full for the current season and will only be accepting additional skins until March 15th. After that, we will pause new intake while we focus on getting caught up. We expect to begin accepting new work again around spring bear season, likely sometime in May or June.
We truly appreciate everyone’s patience and support. Furever Soft is still a growing business, and we’re working hard to scale our operation to meet the needs of our clients while maintaining the quality craftsmanship that people expect from us.
