Today, August 28th, is National Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day.

We want to take a moment to honor and remember all of our family dogs and beloved fluffy clients who have passed over the rainbow bridge. Thank you for many years of letting us care for your pets from puppyhood to teenage crazies, adulthood, and eventually their golden senior years. We hope your hearts find peace, love, and comfort today 🫂❤️‍🩹.

Today we honor country music legend, Dolly Parton.

Dolly was a lifelong lover of all things pets, so much as to have launched a dog apparel brand in 2022, Doggy Parton, of which partial proceeds were donated to rescue group Willa B Farms. Dolly also worked with animal welfare groups such as PETA in an effort to promote proper care and treatment of pets and animals of many sorts.

Her dedication to the people, pets, and art that she loved so dearly and curated so passionately leaves a lasting impact for generations to come to enjoy and admire. Rest in Peace, miss Dolly 💘🐾

UPDATE: Mack has been reunited with Judy!!

Botetourt Community,

Please be on the look out for Mr. Mack Bova, a 38lb Tri-color Australian shepherd. His mom Judy would appreciate any and all assistance we can rally. I have attached a recent photo below.

He is fast and particular around people, so please just call in any sightings of him to Botetourt Veterinary Hospital at 540-992-2711. His last known whereabouts was in the woods all the way down Old Wagon Road in Troutville. Thank you all!
