At just around 3 years old and a perfect 15 pounds, this pint-sized sweetheart is ready to find her forever family. Skittles sadly found herself in our care when her elderly owners could no longer look after her, but she hasn't let that dampen her loving spirit.Skittles is a total dream addition to a household. She comes with excellent house manners, is completely potty trained, and walks absolutely beautifully on a leash. Love road trips? She’s the perfect co-pilot and loves to go for rides! She's also doing fantastic learning her kennel routine.

I am an almost 3 year old female patched tabby fabulous kitty. I am a product of a hoarder who was a nice lady and tried to keep us safe but could not afford to vet us or try to find homes. She was being evicted so she wanted all of us to find home so she contacted a rescue to help. We were all sweet but shy kitties. My foster mom came over and said GOSH KITTIES YALL DESERVE BETTER! We are now totally vetted and feel safe finally. My mom named me Pippa because she said I needed a royal name because I was so pretty. I am a chunky gal who loves to eat. I like being petted and would love to have my very own mom and dad or mom or dad. It will take me a moment to settle in but with love and patience I am your gal. I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and have my rabies shot. My mom says I deserve a life my beginning was rough but I deserve a life of love and I will return that right back to you! Roxie update…..
It’s Roxie’s ten year Anniversary. Can you believe it's been ten years?
Her and I have matured together, well she has. She doesn't run as fast as she used to but she can keep up with the best of them and she even managed to keep her girlish figure. When I walk her, people say "what a cute puppy. I wish I could age that well.
Thank you for Roxie and Hera, I know Roxie misses her.
Thank you for the amazing job you do to save so many animals and find them a good home. You are truly amazing.

Happy 1 year Adoption Anniversary to CAFA’s sweet rescue kitty Molly. Rescued as an outside stray young cat who gave birth to kittens and was abandoned. She was very sweet but very shy when CAFA rescued her and her kittens. She was chosen by an amazing family who has watched her blossom into a cuddly, affectionate, funny, sassy and dog loving kitty. Thank you for rescuing an adult kitty that needed love of a family!

Here is Molly’s update…..

We just celebrated Molly’s first adoption anniversary last weekend and I figured I’d send some update photos 😊 Molly has a new puppy sister who absolutely adores her and I think the feeling is mutual. She’s very happy and loved 🥰 She’s snuggled up with us on the couch right now, purring and enjoying some good chin scratches

Funny enough, I found out after looking through her paperwork that our new dog and Molly actually got spayed at the same exact clinic so it feels like fate that we have them both

Her personality has really blossomed in the time we’ve had her! She’s got some sass sometimes 😂 every night around the same time she will start non-stop meowing at me to tell me to feed her dinner
She will also hop into bed with us at night and stare at the tv until we put something on for her to watch

Molly seems to feel motherly towards our new pup which is just the sweetest thing! Molly will sometimes mother me too and will sit on the top of the couch and lick my hair
She knows she’s the queen of the house!

Remember Lakey? She was the pregnant dog we rescued from the kill shelter right before she gave birth. The hankies and momma have all been learning what love is from their amazing foster mom and now they are ready to find their forever families in New England.
They are UTD on vaccines, spayed/neutered, microchipped and ready to be part of a their very own families.

Transportation Fee: $ 225.00
Quarantine fee if applicable: MA and NH residents or fostered there -- $155.00

Medical details:
All our dogs are altered (spayed or neutered), DHLPP, rabies, bordetella, heartworm tested with negative test results, microchipped, treated for parasites and on monthly heartworm and flea and tick prevention. A health certificate is issued by a licensed Louisiana veterinarian.
