Ever wonder what the “& Co.” in Ashton & Co. K9 Academy really represents?

It represents the incredible group of people I’ve met over the last few years who have become so much more than just clients or students.

They’re the people who show up. The people who cheer each other on. The people who celebrate someone else’s win just as loudly as their own. They’re the ones willing to lend a hand, offer encouragement, share what they’ve learned, and set an example for the people coming in behind them.

Somewhere along the way, this stopped feeling like my dog training business and started feeling like our community.

The “& Co.” represents the people who have helped shape what this place has become. People who believe in doing right by their dogs, putting in the work, continuing to learn, and supporting one another along the way.

I may have started this journey, but Ashton & Co. has become what it is because of the people standing beside me and the dogs standing beside them.

That’s the Co. 💙🧡

And this photo only shows a tiny piece of our “Co.” There are so many dogs and people who have been part of this journey that I could never fit everyone into one picture. So if you don’t see your dog here, please know this isn’t meant to be an all inclusive list. It’s simply a snapshot representing something much bigger:

Dear Diary,

Tuesday evening this “trainer lady” that I’ve only met twice, made my mom put a treat on my paw and then she told me to leave it….

…and I listened…

…not sure what kind of sorcery it is but I’m just as surprised with myself as you are…

I’m also kinda low key ticked that my mom signed me up for this so I’ve made it my life goal to make her out to be a liar because I’ve been SO GOOD during these last 2 classes when she said I was so naughty at home! 🙄🤭

I’ll keep you updated on what I accomplish next week.
