Here’s some of the pets that will be joining us tomorrow @ KeyBank for their back-to-school Parking Lot Party! 🎉💕

🍉 Watermelon will be joining us from foster from 12-2pm

🔥 Blaze

🎀 Buddie Girl will be coming with her foster parent from 10-12pm

🧟‍♂️ Zombie

Blaze and Zombie are pups who are on the shy side, so if they aren’t feeling up to it, we won’t force them! But they’ve been making huge strides!

Don’t worry! We have plenty more pups that can come if they don’t feel like it! And we’ll keep you updated on our stories about who is there 🫶

2026 is the year that Heartland celebrates 60 Years of Pawsome!

To kick off this huge month long celebration we are hosting this pet photo calendar contest not only as a fundraiser, but as a chance for you to show off your furry friends! Because that’s what we’re all about, the animals in our community and the people who love them. 💛

KeyBank is hosting this back-to-school event on 9/4 from 10-2pm at their Corvallis location. They’ve invited us to bring some of our pets looking for a home as well as some local food trucks🚚

Come join for some games, food, and the chance to meet a new best friend!

Happy Foster Friday from your friend Sweet Potato Pie!

This lovely lady is about 5 years old and just a wonderful, little companion. She adjusted much quicker than expected to her foster home which just add to her wonderfulness💕

She has a love for wand toys and head scritches. If you’re one to host, SPP will dutifully greet visitors with you like the wonderful hostess she is 😆

She does prefer to keep all four paws on the ground, but will come and join you when you’re lounging and gratefully except affection in the form of pets and of course head scritches.

For National Dog Day we wanted to show off some of our pups looking for their best friends💕🐶

🍉 Watermelon is going on 6 years old and is seriously such an amazing girl. In foster she has been great in the home, awesome on leash, and knows a list of commands. She would love a home that will give her lots of cuddles and lots of long walks!

❤️ St. Elmo is going on 2 years old and absolutely looooveeess squeaky toys. Food is also a way to his heart which is great for training! He still very much has puppy energy and would love a home that will continue his training and give him plenty of yummy treats.

💌 Valentine is a 5 year old little ball of big, bossy personality. 😆 In his foster home he has successfully learned how to use the doggy door and sleeps through the night wonderfully. House training has been going swimmingly as well. He’s a little guy with a lot of personality and behavior quirks. Prospective adopters should reach out to our Foster Coordinator, Emily, at [email protected]. She can answer any questions you have about Valentine!

Blue is your new best friend! 💙

If you’re looking for a young little man who is highly food motivated (great for training!) then Blue may be the right fit for you! He’s 8 months of pure friendliness and goofiness. He’s also met some other dogs while at Heartland and does well with them. Of course we would love to have a scheduled meet between Blue and your resident dog if you were interested in adopting.

Blue is still very much a puppy and would thrive in a home that will provide consistency in training and of course lots of love 💕
