Desert Waves Labradoodles is located near Albuquerque, New Mexico, often called the Land of Enchantment. They have gentle and kind spirits mixed with just the right amount of playfulness. They are smart, social, loyal, and easy to train. Further, their soft wavy coats and athletic bodies give them an uncommonly beautiful appearance that speaks of casual elegance. And, of course, their low to non-shedding, allergy friendly coats help make Labradoodles a pleasure to have in your home.

Getting ready to bring home your puppy? Until house-trained, use a puppy play pen to keep puppy safe when you are not home, overnight, and when you can't watch carefully to prevent potty accidents and chewing furniture. Think of the potty box like training pants for childrent. Your breeder should have your puppy trained to use a potty box. In addition to in the play pen, you can have a potty box near the door for puppy. You will transition puppy to going outside to go potty. This takes time, however, as puppy needs to mature to reliably control his potty needs. Puppy potty boxes are available on Amazon. They are larger and have lower sides than cat litter boxes. We use alfalfa pellets for our litter. They are safe, not dusty, naturally scented and smell like the outdoors as they are a grass feed for horses. The outdoorsy scent helps puppy transition to going potty outside. You can get alfalfa pellets on Amazon or at a livestock feed store.
Make sure your puppy play pen is high enough that puppy can't jump out. 3' works well.
