Our ‘new’ building August 3, 1970.

HURRICANE CELIA. No one in our family was hurt, thank goodness, but our Dad—Melvin—stayed in the building in case there were leaks. He ended up in the men’s room praying.

Our power was out for 2 weeks. We set up our old cash register in the warehouse & sold the feed & merchandise that we could. Thankfully we had a whole boxcar of feed at the rail yard & brought the feed over one truckload at a time.
So many stories & memories. What’s yours?
