A strong crew turned out for our 3.5+ Singles Strategy Clinic at Coronado Tennis Center 6/7!
Players sharpened their patterns, learned how to impose with serve +1 and neutralize return +1, and trained to force errors, not chase winners.

Join us for the inaugural Diamond League Pickleball San Diego Open, taking place August 2–3 at Coronado Cays Park pickleball courts.

This DUPR-sanctioned tournament offers a round-robin format with medal rounds, ensuring each team plays a minimum of 5 matches. Custom medals will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each division. All participants will receive complimentary water and granola bars.

Dates: August 2–3
Location: Coronado Cays Park, 16 Bahama Bend, Coronado, CA 92118

Divisions:
Saturday, August 2: Men’s and Women’s Doubles 2.5–4.0+ (12+ and 50+)
Sunday, August 3: Men’s Doubles 4.0 (12+ and 50+), Men’s Doubles 4.5+, Mixed Doubles 2.5–4.0 (12+ and 50+)

Registration:
Fees: $75 per person for the first event, $35 for an additional event
Early Bird Discount: $10 off until June 14
Final Registration Deadline: July 19 at 11:59 PM

Join us for a focused singles clinic designed for players rated 3.5 and above. This 2-hour session will cover both primary and secondary patterns of play, including:

Serve and return tactics

Rally exchange and shot selection

Transition play and net strategies

How to identify opponent weaknesses

How to leverage your own strengths

Cost: $50 for residents / $60 for non-residents
Note: Players must have a minimum USTA 3.5 rating to participate.

Junior Singles Match play this Sunday 5/25 2-5pm at the Coronado Tennis Center

Join Us for Verified Matchplay!
Looking to get competitive match experience and improve your UTR?

Our Verified Matchplay event is open to all players with a UTR of 1-2.99 & 3-5. Players will be grouped based on their UTR or skill level to ensure competitive, level-based matches.

Don’t have a UTR? No problem! Just let us know your tennis experience, and we’ll find the right match for you.

What to Expect:
Competitive, level-based play
Guaranteed at least two matches within a three-hour window
Match format: Best of two full sets with a 10-point tiebreaker in place of a third set
Easy scheduling – match times will be posted on the UTR event page under "Draws"

Entry & Refund Policy:
If a player doesn’t get to start a second match due to a withdrawal or an odd number of players, we will refund 50% of the entry fee (excluding UTR’s verified fee).

No refunds once draws have closed – thank you for understanding.

Junior Co-Ed Doubles Tournament – Saturday, May 18
Location: Coronado Tennis Center
Time: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Ages: 10–17 | UTR 2.5–5.5
Entry Fee: $80-$92.50 per team

Get ready for an exciting day of competitive doubles action. This knockout-style tournament includes a backdraw, so every team is guaranteed at least two matches. Matches will follow a one-set (pro set) format with Ad scoring.
*Tournament style and format of play may be altered depending on number of teams entered.

This event is a great opportunity for junior players to test their teamwork on the doubles court and compete in a fun, challenging environment.

Coronado Junior Woman's Club Double Served Tennis Tournament is back for its FOURTH year on Friday May 2nd and will benefit Safe Harbor Coronado.

Spectator tickets give you front row access to all of the excitement and event activities, food, and drinks.

Plus, for the first time, this year will include the Hype Court 4 experience, presented by Longball Craft Cocktails, from 4-7pm, which is going to make the spectator experience one you will not want to miss!

Come enjoy some friendly competition, a raffle, silent auction, live music, and delicious bites, and refreshing beverages.

There will be 2 levels of mixed doubles or female doubles play.
