Happy 7th Birthday to my boy, Pistol! He's all grown up and living his best life in Colorado now with an amazing family that continues to share his accomplishments with us.

I love that he's taking care of their teenage boys as they go to roping clinics, rodeos and jackpots!

I was so grateful when they let us know they were going to be in town with him and invited us out to see him.

I walked up and they handed me the reins and said "take him for a spin"

My brain hesitated for a split second but then I knew I would regret it if I didn't take the opportunity.

So, we spent some time together and my heart was full knowing how much he's loved by all of us! 🐴💙🐴💙

Grandmare and I had another amazing day with Holly Shanahan with Lazy S 6 Equine! 6.5 miles in almost 3 hours and we saw every version of desert landscape and a bald eagle 🦅.

Grandmare Lori McGuire and I had such an amazing day yesterday! Miss Holly Shanahan from Lazy S 6 Equine took us to the Cinder Pile near Cornville and we took off riding through the desert! We enjoyed the scenery Grandmare took lots of pictures. Then Miss Holly asked us if our cinch was still good and tight. Grandmare said “sure” not realizing what was coming next! All of a sudden we were going up this pretty steep incline! Grandmare was shocked how well I did! She just hung on and leaned forward to help us get up the hill! It was so amazing at the top! Then, of course, we had to go back down the hill. It was a little slippery but I made sure to keep Grandmare safe in the saddle! I think she’s pretty proud of me!
