Ancient Child & Wolf Walk Side by Side 🐺 In the Chauvet Cave in southern France, archaeologists discovered 26,000-year-old footprints of a child and a wolf (or early domesticated dog) walking side-by-side. This discovery provides the oldest known evidence of a human-canine relationship, suggesting a deep bond between humans and dogs that pre-dates established domestication. Hey everyone! I’m on the hunt for a helper at my dog grooming shop, Hair of the Dog in Cornville!

I need someone who’s available one steady day a week (I’ll book the day solid) and maybe occasionally on call other days too.

No experience necessary — just a good attitude, a love for animals, and the ability to lift, scrub, and hustle! This is a physical job, but it’s super rewarding if you love animals.

I’ve been grooming for 20 years and would love to teach someone the trade. You’d start out doing baths, nails, and some grunt work (cleaning, tools, etc.) but if you stick with it, I’ll teach you how to be a professional groomer and hook you up with tools to learn on.

Starting pay is minimum wage if you’ve got no experience — but free hands-on training with someone who knows their stuff.

Summer is here and it is very hot in the Verde Valley. Our little air conditioner in our shop isn't keeping up. To ensure the safety of the dogs, we are closing temporarily until we can renovate our shop to be better insulated.
