As this year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to express just how grateful we are for the incredible love, trust, and support we’ve received from our community. We have truly loved meeting so many wonderful people and getting to know you and your families throughout the year.
Thank you for entrusting us with the care of your furry family members—it is an honor we do not take lightly. Being part of their lives and supporting their health and well-being means the world to us. Whether you visited us for routine care, shared kind words, recommended us to others, or followed along and cheered us on, every bit of support has meant more than you know.
Serving this community is a privilege, and we are so thankful for the relationships we’ve built along the way. Your kindness and encouragement inspire us every day, and we look forward to continuing to care for you and your pets in the year ahead. A huge THANK YOU to the Scott County Humane Society and Helping Hounds Find Homes for partnering with us to make our free vaccine clinic such a success!

In just 4 hours, Dr. Birch and the VCC team vaccinated 94 pets. 🐶🐱

Huge shoutout to Jeremy, our head tech, for organizing the event and keeping everything running smoothly. We’re so proud to serve our community! 🐾

Join us at Veterinary Care Center (1205 Master Street, Corbin, KY 40701) on Friday, December 5th from 1 PM to 5 PM for a low-cost vaccine event.
🐶 Dogs:
• DA2PP – FREE
• Rabies – $10
🐱 Cats:
• HCP – FREE
• Rabies – $10

✔️ First come, first served, while supplies last

THANKSGIVING PET SAFETY TIPS

To help your furry family members stay happy and healthy during the holiday, here are a few reminders:

🦴 AVOID SHARING TABLE FOOD

Turkey bones, fatty skin, gravy, stuffing, onions, garlic, and spices can all cause stomach upset or serious illness. Stick to pet-safe treats only.

🍫 KEEP TOXIC FOODS OUT OF REACH

Chocolate, grapes, raisins, alcohol, xylitol (found in sugar-free foods), and yeast dough are dangerous for pets.

🗑 SECURE THE TRASH

Curious noses often find their way into garbage bags filled with irresistible—but unsafe—scraps. A secured trash can prevents accidental ingestion.

🚪 WATCH THE DOORS

With guests coming and going, pets may slip outside unexpectedly. Consider using baby gates or keeping pets in a secure room during busy moments.

🎉 PROVIDE A QUIET PLACE

Holiday gatherings can be stressful. Ensure your pet has a safe, calm place to retreat if the excitement becomes overwhelming.

🕯 BE CAUTIOUS WITH DECOR

Candles, floral arrangements, and certain festive plants (like lilies or poinsettias) may pose risks. Keep them out of paw’s reach.
