We’re already seeing cases of “Bobcat Fever” (Cytauxzoonosis) in our area — and we have confirmed 1 case at our clinic this summer. This disease is spread by ticks and can become life-threatening very quickly in cats.

Sometimes it’s the little things that matter most. 💜🐾

This sweet girl came to see us for a splint change after breaking a few toes. Her little human was worried about her, so she brought along her stuffed puppy with a matching bandage for support. 🥹

Our team decided the stuffed puppy deserved proper treatment too — complete with a fresh bandage change and tiny heart details cut by hand from the bandage tape. 💕🩹

At VCC, caring for pets also means caring for the people who love them. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do every day.

Big shoutout to Straight Cut Tree Services, LLC for taking down a dead tree behind VCC that was hanging over our roof 🌳💪

They’ve done work for us before, and every time they:
✅ show up when they say they will
✅ have the right equipment
✅ work efficiently and safely
✅ clean everything up completely

Watching them work was impressive. The area looks great, and we appreciate dependable local businesses that take pride in what they do.

If anyone is looking for tree work done, we definitely recommend them!
