Does your dog jump on guests, dart out the door, or sn**ch things from your hand? That's impulsivity-acting without thinking. Some dogs struggle with self-control, making it harder for them to resist urges.

Common Impulsive Behaviors:
🐾 Jumping on people
🚪 Bolting through doors
🍔 Grabbing food from hands
❌ Struggling with "stay"
😤 Reacting without warning

What Causes It?
* Genetics (some breeds are wired for it)
* Lack of training or structure
* Stress, anxiety, or environment
* Brain chemistry (serotonin + dopamine levels)

How to Fix It:
✅ Teach impulse control with "sit," "stay," and "leave it"
✅ Reward patience (good things come to those who wait!)
✅ Use structured management (leashes, crates, boundaries)
✅ Keep your dog mentally + physically engaged
Impulse control isn't just about rules-it's about helping your dog make better choices. Start small, stay consistent, and you'll see the difference.
