A lot of people think certain breeds are just naturally protective. And while genetics play a role, a truly reliable protection dog is the product of hundreds of hours of structured training.
Drive has to be channeled. Obedience has to be bulletproof. The dog has to be able to turn it on AND turn it off — on command, every time.
That's not something that just happens. That's something that's built.
