💖Root got a mom!💖
A sweet mother cat who lost her kittens took in the one and only baby Root! Her personality really has started to shine. She's spunky and opinionated. Mom is so paiceint, and is raising a sweet little stinker. Thank you to Lisa Marie Kowalski and Melissa Williams for taking Root in. 💕

Yeah... bad idea to do this. Don't.

If you dropped off this cat around 9pm last night at our HQ in Russellville please message us as soon as possible before we file a police report. We caught you on camera and our neighbors more than likely caught your license plate. You were driving a white truck by the way, in case you forgot what you were driving.

To add additional information, we are NOT a shelter. We aren't even supposed to have cats spending the night at our warehouse. We made a post recently about how we are both an animal and human services organization. If this person would have reached out to us, we could have possibly given them assistance or at least a direction.

We know people sometimes make desperate decisions when they feel out of options. But abandoning animals at our warehouse is not safe for the animal and is not sustainable for our organization.

Our warehouse is not staffed 24/7. Animals left outside may go unnoticed for hours or longer without food, water, litter access, temperature control, or medical attention. In this case, a cat was left overnight in a carrier in Arkansas heat and humidity with no guarantee anyone would arrive in time.

We also receive no background information when this happens. We don’t know:
• whether the cat is friendly or feral
• whether they are sick or injured
• whether they have exposed other animals to illness
• whether they are litterbox trained
• whether they are safe around children, dogs, or other cats
• whether they have ever received veterinary care

Every abandoned animal requires time, space, funding, medical care, quarantine planning, and foster placement. We are a volunteer-run organization already operating beyond our capacity, and we cannot safely absorb animals left at our property without communication or planning.

If you need help, please contact us first. We will always try to discuss humane and safe options when resources allow. But leaving animals at our warehouse cannot continue and will be reported to local authorities or animal control for the safety of the animals involved. If nothing else, just to find out more information and what services we can provide. That is why we are asking the person to reach out to us. We do NOT want to press charges, we want to help.

🍫Meet the Chocolate kittens🍪
Brownie, Oreo, Fudge, Cake, Truffle, and Cocoa are very scary. They really like to hiss, and even spit! They are extremely ferocious and vicious, and may only be handled with gloves. 🩷😂

Charizard was a part of our mass trapping, he is a stray but is extremely friendly. So he has been sent to a foster to get a chance to be adopted. He is a sweet boy who will be placed up for adoption once medically checked out. 🧡🔥
