Royal has finally started her heat. I will plan to breed her with an outside stud, Ontario, who is a silver. We will get chocolates and silvers from this pairing. I do have people on the list for chocolate females that have been waiting some time as we haven’t managed to get any in the last couple breedings that had chocolates- 1 would take a silver if not enough chocolates. I also have at least 1 for a chocolate male but silvers are otherwise open at this time.
Depending on when Ricky comes into heat will determine when my black litter will be. I can only do 2 litters at a time and Rowan’s puppies will be almost ready to leave when Royal delivers. Plus we will have Royal’s pups through the holidays.

Not the clearest images but I do see something happening. I will do another sonogram in another week which hopefully will be clearer images but for now- hearts show a puppy inside and circles are just the sacs with pups out of view. Rowan continues to get thicker. This is an all red litter. Wait list has been started.

Made it to the post office today so the paperwork has gone out. It should arrive in the next few days.
Update on Rowan. She is not quite 4 weeks post breeding. Never saw a tie but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t one as they are together all day while we are at work. I did do an AI just to cover not witnessing a tie. As you may know, I’m not always successful at it. Rowan doesn’t show pregnancy the way my other dogs do. She doesn’t have the rib expansion that I look for in my other girls. She just gets overall thicker in the body until just before delivery. She was looking a little thicker today so even though it’s early, I tried a sonogram. Not very clear because it is early but I believe I saw some sacs. I will sonogram again next weekend and should be able to confirm pregnancy. I will keep you posted. He list has been started.

Well, the missing paperwork finally arrived after I don’t know how many phone calls. I will fill everything out this weekend and get them in the mail.

In a couple weeks I will scan Rowan for confirmation of pregnancy. I’m still waiting on Royal to come back into heat. She should be starting in the next couple weeks. I will keep everyone posted.
