Just reviewed wait list, chocolate male has 2nd pick available, chocolate female is closed at this time, black male is open, black female is closed at this time, yellow male is open and yellow female has 3rd pick open.
Still planning fall/ winter breeding of Royal for a chocolate/ silver litter and Ricky will most likely be an all black litter

This has been the craziest breeding season. None of the males wanted to compete the deed. Rebel was our last hope for this round. Despite her best efforts, there was no tie. I covered her with an AI but have never had any luck with that. Sonogram at 4 and 5 weeks showed nothing. She showed none of her usual signs of pregnancy. Huge disappointment to say the least. In the last week, she started getting fat but not bagging up so we believed she was experiencing a false pregnancy. My daughter felt we should scan her just to be sure. She must have been hiding them up in her rib cage where I can’t scan through the ribs. Still not bagging yet but should start soon.

Unfortunately, this spring breeding was not successful. This was on no part of my girls who were very willing and did all they could to entice the boys. Out of 3 males, all were very eager to practice but none would compete the task. I am very disappointed to say the least. These were not my males but because I was trying for certain colors, I had to go outside my own males. I will need to think now for my future litters. Yellow and black is not my problem, chocolate is.

Royal would not accept Ranger so I went with another yellow, Theodore for a yellow and black litter- 0
Rebel to Archer( a male from down near Albany (same breeder where I got Ranger) for an all 3 color litter- 0
