This is our August Day Training Schedule! We are planning on being there EVERY Tuesday and Thursday this month!

Layla is a jumper, so we have been working on strengthening her OFF command in various settings!

She warms up with OFF from the platform and works her way to OFF from invited hugs! She is learning BOTH to respect OFF and also not to jump up unless invited.

Pluto struggles to focus around outside distractions so we took our Swing (into heel position) training to the parking lot!

The whole idea is to work him around semi predictable distractions and keep him returning to handler for more instead of trying to pull his way to saying hi to strangers.

This is session one of Galway learning the STAND command! This skill teaches your dog to stand in place, it can be a very useful skill for veterinary exams as well as physical therapy. This skill was actually suggested to me by our friends at Canine Strong!

Today's Class Photos!

Galway is learning that Raja is actually a pretty awesome puppy and hanging out with him seems to equal lots of extra treats!

Raja really enjoyed the complexity of his leveled up dopamine box! He has learned that hearing a clicker means there's a treat to be found and is being very brave nuzzling around the various paper rolls in the box and that leaving his face in there is the fastest way to keep the treat train coming!

We're getting into the puppy training routine at day training!

Raja is 4.5 months old and ready to get started with the basics!

I loaded the clicker sound for him to know it meant good things, then we moved onto some follow the leader, followed by introducing a dopamine box, and then added a recall away from the empty dopamine box as an added distraction! Lots of movement and lots of patience, this boy is already doing so well.
