As many of you know, Alison Ouellette and I compete in MondioRing with our dogs Tizzy and Ditto.

Alison and Tizzy have been swimming upstream to be competitive in a sport designed for fast, twitchy, early to develop dogs, and they have done well so far 🤩

If she can train an off-breed to do those things, we are lucky to have her support and input on training your dogs to do the various things we do!

And now, in getting to know the LotL club dogs, Miss Busy Tizzy!

Tizzy is a 4 year Rottweiler. Alison and Tizzy have been training for 4 years in Mondio under the guidance of some incredible people! Tizzy is the first Rottweiler to achieve a level 2 OBJ title and she is breeder/owner/handled. We are currently working towards our OBJ3 and closing out our MR1 this year. In her spare time, Tizzy has been determined to cost Alison an exploratory surgery since she was 4 mos old! 😵‍💫

We love our club and being a part of a sport that is so incredibly difficult to train for and so rewarding at the same time! 🩵

Alison and Tizzy have embraced the tough task of training an off-breed for a sport designed for the Malinois with everything they’ve got, and have us all proud over their accomplishments so far. They will also be hitting the trial field in the fall!

Alison is also the mastermind and organizer of our raffles 🎲

K9 Niko is back for the weekend!

I love when this dude visits because his attitude is awesome.
He comes out of the van (and this is only his second short stay), bolts for the trail at the bottom of the backyard that he walked the last time, when that didn’t get me moving, he came running back and threw himself into heel position. Then he downed. Then he sat. Then he went searching for a ball and managed to find one. And then he came back for the touchies.

He’s such a smol but powerful, happy to do all the things dude.

and Kadi left their Tuesday lesson as an AKC Canine Good Citizen team, and the title was well earned!

Kadi went through a reactive stage and the dog to dog greeting was a particularly challenging task. Michele has worked so hard and it showed during testing. Kadi barely gave Sean a second glance.

So proud of this team, and grateful for how hard they work on the daily. Michele and Kadi have such a wonderful relationship.

Oh Sean…
The therapy dog foundations are strong in this boy.
I gave all the dogs bully sticks this afternoon. I realized when I came back in the room 5 minutes later, while all the other dogs were chewing away, that I hadn’t given Sean permission to have it, so he hadn’t touched it.

At his age and with the amount of freedom he has in and around the house, he still works so hard at being good 😇

Enjoyed a fantastic Out and About lesson with Team Chucky last week!

Now that Spring has fully sprung, we’ll be doing just about everything outside in the community, on the trails and in the woods 😎
