Where can with start with our gratitude to The Farm at Dover Vineyards ? Elizabeth has been in our lives since we started the journey farming and with Alisha at The Bulb Mobile Market . Her heart is as big as her plans for her farm. It’s and ongoing labor of love and you can see it with how she is detail oriented, works hard and gives harder.

Elizabeth donated wine for our party this Saturday. We definitely know what it’s like to get asked for donated items and w'd LOVE to give to everyone who asks. But she did it and it’s this farmer to farmer acknowledgment that we are in this together. As soon as we had well issues she discussed having things happening on her farm too— like needing a new tractor! When things like tractors and wells breakdown, farmers do not have an easy job. And we rely on each other and community to keep going.

Thank you Elizabeth for your generous heart and hard work. We hope to return the favor with helping on your farm one day and sharing all the awesome things you do. Giving to your amazing farm store that’s located on 3600 concord parkway s. Convenient to Charlotte AND concord residents. It’s a great meeting spot for those wanting to meet in the middle.

And she hosts dinners often with the amazing Julia Simon, pick your own flowers, and live music (see pic 4).

CSA week 7!

The farm party is gonna be LIT! And the song chose us okay , cause everything is going to be delicious. Here is the line up you don’t wanna miss:

Long time friends / homesteaders and beekeepers Dominique Verechia Bunce will be making her famous cured salmon platter. If ya know ya know how good this is.

Our wonderful friend and baker Thoughtful Baking Co. (who is using our eggs) is bringing the quiche! If you haven’t tried anything she’s made, you better. You’ll be better for it too. Everything…is delicious.

Friend and owner of Soul Miner's Garden Sasha is making vegan tater salad. You’ll get a taste of what she can cook up but if you want more find her at Camp North End for all the vegan comfort.

Laney Jahkel-Parrish with Piedmont Culinary Guild thank you for bringing biscuits and treats for Ben’s sausage gravy! Oh man, mouth is watering.

We will have our super woman talented friend Barb Plays Music on the tunes and a flower bar by Alisha Dawn Street — gonna do some grilled and roasted veg with boiled peanuts too!

NC Cooperative Extension in Cabarrus will be helping us with salad bar items and supplies. Shout out to Tracy LeCompte for all that you do!

While we are here— come out and support us at the Town of Harrisburg farmers market popping up for the first time TOMORROW! 4-7!

Thanks so much to NC Cooperative Extension / NC State Extension Master Gardener Volunteers of Cabarrus County / Cabarrus Counth Extension for coming to tour our farm today! It always gives us insight as to how much we need to do for company to come around but it was reassuring that everyone was so eager to learn and understood the hard work at hand! We love our extension office in Cabarrus county! They have done so much for us including helping us with this weekends Farm Party! This is your reminder to get your tickets and help us raise money for another well! It’s going to be so fun— will be singing tunes! We’ll be raising our glass to the potential of the farm to come in full swing. With community like ours, we feel supported and able to do anything! Thank you all 🩷

Speaking of, another piece of exciting news is that we'll be at the Harrisburg NC Farmers Market! The very first market is THIS Thursday from 4-7! Come on out to the Town Square next to and see us!

PS - Our online store is OPEN. Reminder, you can order what you want or even get a "Farmers Box" which is an as needed CSA box! It's such a cool option if you're wanting to try something new!

Meet cabbage head, the extra farmer we wish we had in these busy, sweaty days, ha! But seriously though, look at these cabbagesz they are humungous which could be due to the drought then burst of rain. The taste is still delicious— our kids are the taste testers. When they go in and ask for a head of cabbage, we know it’s alright. Granted, we have to give them a 1/4 of these babies.

Come and get your cabbage and other amazingly plump veggies tomorrow at Matthews Community Farmers Market from 8-12 tomorrow! We will have eggs, flowers, herbs and edible flowers too!

We're excited to announce that we are now partnering with Mossflower Abbey Farm in Locust to bring their fresh breads to you all! Alisha met Pat and Sam a number of years ago when she worked with the Brain Injury Association, and then it just so happened that they are members of the church we began attending last year, and we're pumped to be growing our partnerships in the community!

This week we're offering their buttermilk sandwich and Parmesan garlic loaves. Get your orders in today (Monday) to get bread this week!
