🔍 Answer to Last Week's "Guess That Vet Truck Object"! 🔍
So the final post threw everyone off this time!
(We were trying to make it trickier for the last one...😉)

This is the Digital Radiograph tablet and case. The hardshell case protects the tablet that has the image processing software that wirelessly receives the x-ray image from the battery powered radiograph sensor plate. 🩻

Digital x-rays have become a key component of modern equine veterinary care. By using advanced sensors, these systems capture high-quality images of a horse’s internal structures—such as bones and joints—almost instantly. The images are processed and stored electronically, which allows veterinarians to view them on-screen within seconds of taking the x-ray.

This technology not only helps detect subtle issues like hairline fractures or early signs of joint disease, but it also supports better monitoring of recovery and ongoing conditions. Because the images can be easily stored and shared, digital x-rays also enhance collaboration among veterinary professionals, which is especially useful for second opinions or referrals.

In addition, digital radiography systems typically require lower doses of radiation, making them a safer choice for both horses and handlers. The efficiency, clarity, and immediacy offered by digital x-rays help NBEA make quicker, more informed decisions—an essential part of responsive care.

Update on our sponsored riders and their horses:
Julia and Adrienne took Gus and Jasmine to their first ever 3-phase at Groton House Farm Classic—and these horses stepped up to the challenge in style. They gained essential show miles under saddle, tackled new experiences head-on, and got a true taste of the eventing world. It was a fantastic step forward in their re-education journeys, with plenty of learning and growth all around. We couldn’t be more proud of this crew! 🐴🌟

On Sunday, Dr. Shen and Sheena made it down to Valinor Farm as North Bridge Equine was the vet on-site for the horse trials.
We were fortunate with a beautiful day of eventing - the intense sun/heat didn't make a true appearance until around 1pm, and we were lucky enough to have a good breeze most of the day.
The whole crew at Valinor put on an amazing, well organized event and it is always a pleasure to be at their HT.
Sheena went out to the XC course and was able to get some photos of our clients and their horses. The NBEA team did fantastic in their divisions!
