🎉 HUGE PROGRESS UPDATE! 🎉

Three sides of posts are officially in! ❤️

We only have ONE more side of posts to install, then we'll finish the braces and be ready to start hanging the no-climb fence!

Seeing this pasture finally come together is so exciting. Every post we've set brings us one step closer to bringing our mustangs and b***os home where they belong.

Now we're in the final stretch, and we need your help to get across the finish line. We still need a few more rolls of no-climb fencing, and each roll costs approximately $340 each.

I dont think I will ever get over the fact you are not here my Brooky Boo. I would have never expected so much love and trust to have come from a K*llpen horse who was given absolutely no reason to trust people, but you did. and you helped so many other rescued equines learn to trust us and that we were ok. I wish you could be here in KY but I know that the pastures on the other side are in fact greener in this sence. I'll keep helping who I can in your memory and I'll see you again my friend.

Hey herd 💛

Our horses could use a little extra love right now.
The weather here in KY has been really moody lately, and it’s been causing some stress on the herd. On top of that, the hay we currently have is fall hay, so it’s not very nutrient-dense. We’re starting to notice a bit of weight loss in a few of them.

Normally this wouldn’t be a concern because they would be out on green pasture to suplment that nutrition need—but since our fencing project isn’t fully complete yet, they can’t safely come home. That means we need to supplement their diet a little more right now to help keep everyone healthy and holding weight.

Our go-to combo for this situation is:
✨ hay stretcher(this stuff is amazing we feed alot of it)
✨ alfalfa pellets(16% crude protein)
✨ beet pulp (for extra fiber and gut support promots nutrient absorption)

We’ve updated our Chewy wish list, and if you’re able to donate a bag of any of these feeds, it would mean so much to the herd and to us right now.

A little pasture project update… and a bit of a side quest ❤️🌲

We haven’t had any donations come in over the last few days, which has definitely slowed things down a bit, but we are still out here putting in the work every single day.

While working on the property, we started tackling another area and pulled out piles of garbage from the forest. Our long-term goal is to get this section cleaned up, clear out the small bushes and invasive vines, and eventually make this area usable too!

It’s honestly amazing seeing the potential this property has little by little. Every area we clean is another step toward creating more safe space for the mustangs and b***os.

Right now though, our main priority is still getting the first pasture finished so we can finally start bringing animals home safely. That has to come first before we can move on to expanding more areas.

Another big step forward for the sanctuary ❤️

We are officially putting in our corner posts and braces for the new pasture! This may only be the beginning, but seeing the fence line finally start coming together feels incredible. Every post in the ground brings us one step closer to bringing our mustangs and b***os home.

So far we have raised $320 toward this project, and we are beyond grateful for every person who has donated, shared, commented, and supported us. Your support is what is making this possible.

But we still cannot finish this without your help. Fencing materials add up quickly, and we still have a long way to go before the pasture is complete and safe for the animals.
