Snowflake Eggs was started 12 years ago this year. I started the business with a business partner when I personally no longer could physically work in the corporate world and needed a home-based career. The goal of Snowflake Eggs was to provide a quality egg until my full retirement. I have now achieved my senior years and have begun dedicating my final chapter to my volunteer efforts of the nonprofit Great Spirit Animal Sanctuary and helping animals live out their lives as well.
As many of our customers already knew the chickens and egg sales were moved to the nonprofit during 2023 to wind down the egg business when the former property was sold by the nonprofit. While Eggs have still been available, they were made available through that nonprofit organization.
Currently as we finalize the closing of the business it's time to close this page as well.
Eggs can still be available through the nonprofit as they have been in 2024 and expected to be in 2025 and beyond. All of the chickens have been in custodial care of the nonprofit now for over a year where they will live out their lives wonderfully and safe.
My business partner and I want to thank all of you for helping this business grow over the last 12 years from 8 chickens to over 600 chickens. We couldn't have done this goal without the help of all of our customers.
If you ever want a quality egg, please visit the nonprofit as they'll still be available through them based on their availability.
