Update: Since adoptions are very slow, we are working with Kendi’s current family to see if we can create a joint custody shared situation. If it doesn’t work out, we will continue to look for a new home. ♥️

This special lady was a wonderful momma and through no fault of her own, she is back with the SafeHaven Animal Rescue Team. 😞. She is 2 years old - loves people: big and small. But no cats, small dogs or chickens as she has a high prey drive. She has lived with another male and with proper introductions, it may work. She is spayed and current on her vaccines. She loves long walks, car rides, watching sports with her family. She is a wonderful pup. 💕🐾

My name is Felicia. I was found as a stray on the streets of California and taken to a kill shelter. After many requests, the SafeHaven Animal Rescue Team tagged, pulled and brought me to the ranch. For the most part I am quiet. I am estimated to be 3 years old, and I am super friendly with people and older children. I love zoomies and playing in the yard, but I am so ready to be your faithful companion. Though I call home Texas right now, they can transport me to my forever family. ♥️. I am spayed and current on my vaccines. One thing to note: i have a gigh prey drive and cannot be in a home with cats. 😞

🆘🆘. We really need to find Dougie his forever family! He may be blind but he makes up for it with his loving personality! 🆘🆘 Y’all have asked for more information on Dougie (we need to have a name contest). So, the first set of pictures is where we started. Here are some pictures when SafeHaven Animal Rescue Team first got him with some kind of burns all over his face and around his eyes and then a couple other good pictures. We are now learning that he still has a bullet in his hind leg. It does not appear to be bothering him so the vet will leave it alone for now. The injuries to his face have healed but he is blind. 😞 but it hasn’t stopped his trust in humans. He loves everyone he meets including other dogs and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. ❤️💕. Vet estimates his age between 6-8 years of age. His foster daddy has done an awesome job in the care and rehabilitation. Deep down we know there is a special family for this boy that will continue to show him that not all humans are bad. 💕.

Oh My ❤️. Ms. Peepers (Penelope). You deserve a home with a loving family so bad. We have looked high and low. Up and down and so far, no one seems to understand that you really want to have your humans to yourself. No cats or other dogs and no small children. You are so chilled and laid back and will make an awesome companion to a lucky family. Ms. Peepers is a senior Akita and is current on vaccines; spayed and on heartworm prevention. She is at our Texas Ranch but we will move heaven and earth to get her to her new home. 🐾♥️

🆘🆘. His eyes have healed from the chemical burns and he is neutered. All that is missing now is his forever family. ❤️. He is housetrained and great with people and other dogs. He is a senior akita filled with lots of love to give.
